How Often Do You Rotate Your Coals

i don't move my coals EVER. Only towards the end when the coals start to die, i move them in towards the center of the bowl.

there is no need to move the coals.

but if you never move the coals wont you have sections of un cooked shisha and section of cooked where the coals were?

The juice in the tobacco distributes the heat around the bowl. When you put a pan of water on the stove to boil, but off to the side of the burner, are there sections of water in the pot that don't boil?

I try and rotate every 10 minutes but if im sucked into a movie, i tend to forget then I just rotate them when the smoke thins out

i rotate every 10 min. im currently using the belgian QL right now though.

nevar!  Unless the smoke starts dying then ash them a little to get more heat.

I usually start to rotate them when the taste seems to be off or smoke starts getting thin. Today it was about 30 min. I went back to the same spot later and the taste was fine!

I was rotating my hookah and my charcoal fell off. I'm gonna have to go back to not rotating the hookah.
