TizaNabi
I have been reading for so long about the electric coil burners thatmany members use to light their coals. (You should get a special deal set up from Walgreens.com with all the business you are sending them in the tens of thousands of units).Where I live in Israel all the stove tops are in natural gas. I don't have a stove-oven, but I bought a 5 kilo portable gas container and burn my coals on that.I'm getting average results at best. Should I cook them longer on low flame or use very hot flame? Thanks if you can help me!
TexasHookah
Natural coals always take awhile to heat up. On the burner, heat them on one side for a few minutes and then flip them over and heat for another few minutes until they are red hot.
hookah hippie
I really wouldn't know but I would use trial and error to figure out the best method

*sigh*
I'd say use a hot flame, but it is still going to take awhile.I use a propane torch as high as it will go and it still takes me a few minutes to get them going.
