Not Much Flavor...

I usually smoke hookah for the smoke, thats what I enjoy. Dont get me wrong, I like the flavor, but I notice usually the taste is just a burnt taste almost. I am not complaining, but realized I should be getting more flavor. I smoke the Hookah Hookah tobacco that you can get for like 3 bucks at head shops, is that my problem? Any suggestions?

the hookah hookah is most likely your problem. That stuff roasts very easily and is a lower quality tobacco.

try out some Nakhla/Al Fakher'

if you try nakhla, look at the link to my tutorial in my signature.

If you try Al Fakher sprinkle it in the bowl, press it down lightly and then sprinkle some more until it is right under the top of the bowl.

give that a try and if you still get no flavor report back.

if you still want to use hookah hookah try less heat. Burned = too much heat.

you can also try cracking your coals in pieces and spreading it over the bowl that way you use less heat but it is distributed across the entire bowl ... btw what kind of coals are you using?

Try less charcoal. If you use more, trying for uber-clouds, it will burn the tobacco.
