Zinite
Can you post a picture or something?edit:Talking about these?Looks like a Tangiers Tower ripoff.
Sonthert
Actually, its a Tangiers Grip ripoff. These Chinese importers suck.
ilikemyusername
do the chinese make a superchief ripoff? I've always wanted a superchief but can't find one so i must assume they've been discontinued.
hookah hippie
I don't know the superchief was a good idea but couldn't compete with the awesomeness of the phunnel
ilikemyusername
I have a phunnel and its okay, but I only use it once in a while, I mostly use large egyptian style bowls, I just dont seem to get the same thickness out of a phunnel.
Sonthert
Oh, the superchief will replace the phunnel. No doubt about it. Expect to start seeing some soon. I believe Texas Hookah ordered some.

Sonthert
I like 'em fine. Nobody else likes them. Yet. The foil tends to vibrate too much when the bowl's not fully packed. They're superior to anything short of the phunnel out there (Modesty...really now!). I might like the phunnel more. I don't know. Maybe I was hard on them, maybe others were hard on them. I'll light them up again soon, I think. Maybe I was mad at them for selling like ice at an Eskimo convention. Refresh my memory on the specific quote and I'll let you know what I was thinking. Maybe saying they will replace the phunnel is a little bit of a stretch. A little.

Chiefin
I always get killer bowls of AF out of the superchief I use - really thick smoke and solid flavor for just the right amount of time. I typically just load the shisha in the hollowed out area on the outside, leaving the center with the holes bare. I was wondering if that was the best way to pack it. If so, does the same rule apply for OG Tangiers?
chinodos
Just googled superchief hookah bowls (never heard of one before). I think this would be a great bowl since it pretty much works like a phunnel but you dont have to use as much shisha. Why did these ever go away in the first place? Maybe some obvious reason Im not seeing?
redjako
Those look fun to try..I'm just picturing packing Tang dense and watching the water get so murky from the juices flowing into the holes

Sonthert
Texas Hookah doesn't have theirs yet. They just ordered them. They are getting only 20. Maybe you guys can email Neimus and get him to hold one for you. I know this sounds weird, but I think now Super Chiefs didn't sell well because the phunnels hadn't finished their wild ride. I'm a fan of certain 60s and 70s rock groups. In the beginning a band would release 1-2 albums a year (like every nine months or so). When the band got more successful, they'd start putting out albums only every two years. I used to think it was because they were lazy. I found out from the super chief/phunnel battle that these bands managers realized that if they released albums sooner, while the earlier album was still selling well, it would curtail the sales of the earlier album before they were done or stunt the sales of the newer album. Either way, big loss. Same thing for Super Chiefs, people were happy with their Phunnels and didn't have money or inclination to buy another Tangiers gadget. I actually have another idea for a new bowl. I might just patent this one, though. Chinese knock-offs of my ideas are a drag.

TexasHookah
We will be getting the Tangier's super chiefs in shortly. We are only getting about 20 of the super chief bowls along with Small and Medium Phunnel bowls. We will update the website as soon as we have them. I personally want to try out one of the super chief bowls as well. Can't wait!!!
Stuie
Are there different sizes of the Super Chief? I got one in a trade It's pretty big I think he said it was a Medium. But where there varying sizes originally? Will there be again?
Sonthert
There were smalls, mediums and larges, but they've all been standardized to mediums now.
