Deffy
I recieved my new "starter hookah", a $20 special on eBay. While I put it together I noticed that the vase and bowl were pretty decent but the midsection was cheap faux metal plastic (fauxanium?). If I wanted to "upgrade" this hookah later are most parts interchangable in a particular size class or am I better off buying a high quality hookah on eBay.It's a crime, I got the hookah last night but the shisha won't be in for another day or two! mushrat
with all the reliable vendors out there, why do with a piece of junk on ebay in the first place? I'd say when the time comes just get a new hookah. You have a link to this thing out of curiosity?
Zinite
Post a picture of your hookah. It's probably Chinese manufactured anodized aluminum. Don't buy anything off eBay. There are a dozen reliable vendors that carry quality products:www.hookahcompany.comwww.hookahjohn.comwww.hookah-shisha.comwww.thehookah.comwww.nazarhookah.comwww.hookah-life.comwww.gothookahs.comLook through some of these, post what you like here, and we'll tell you if it's good. Here are some things to look for:If you like a modern look, check out Mya Saray hookahs. If you like a more traditional look, check out Syrian and Egyptian hookahs, specifically Al Fakher and Khaill Mamoon, respectively.

jellywerker
As for your question, yes, you could probably find a new stem that fits, but it would probably cost more than your hookah did. Instead I would follow the suggestions and get a whole new begginer hookah when this one gets flavor stained/you get tired of it/breaks. Mya makes a few very nice ones in the $35-45 dollar range. I love my Mya QT and I think it was $40 from Hookah John.
hookah hippie
hmm you could find something that can fit into your base but it isn't really worth it as its been said when your ready for a new hookah just by an entire one
Amn_sinclair
im gonna have to agree with everyone and say when its time just biy a whole new one from a vendor online. I cant really suggest anything though. Ill admit i own four hookahs all of which have been purchased in german smoke shops and as far as i know none of them are name brand hookahs but i love them anyway havent paid more then 30 for any of them
