joytron
yeah just got some and it smelled super funky, so i left it open in and when i came back fifteen minutes later the whole room smelled amazing. Put my nose right up to in and inhaled and still smelled funky but i thought what the hell and packed a bowl of it. It tasted amazing def. grape and some other stuff going on. I could taste waht might be rose but couldnt find any trace of the lemon. Def. one of the better tasting tangiers i have tried.

Sonthert
The separated butter fat congeals the rat entrails...its necessary. No, these are local rat entrails. Some Mexican imports, too.
Arcane
i thought Tangiers was 100% US made?
Sonthert
Its made in the USA with some imported entrails. Sometimes the glycerine is imported, too.
Arcane
i guess that would keep costs down since mexican rat entrails seem to be cheaper nowadays...
Sonthert
On a per pound basis, but they're smaller and there's less entrails per rat...so they end up being the same price as the American rat entrails.
