Can-O-War
Recently, the base on my Syrian hookah broke, and i want to replace it with a mya "star cut" Pyramid base (the one on the colossus). Unfortunately, I see that the diamater of the base's opening on the Syrian is 1 3/4", and the pyramid is only 1 1/2". Also unfortunately, it fit snugly in the 1 3/4" syrian base already, and unless somthing is altered, there is little chance of it fitting. Are there any tricks or thin grommets that I can use to fit it? Has any one tried this before, or can vouch that the base for your colosssus or paragon (same base different markings) runs large? Any advice is apreciated.

It is possible but verify the dimensions so you dont get screwed in the end.
ilikemyusername
^ agreed, but since it seems it will be a tight fit, mya silicone grommets may be your best bet. they're incredibly thin and you can stretch them easily without them snapping. If its too thin you can build up the syrian stem with a bit of electrical tape, then the mya grommet.
