Definitely good choice, just keep up cleaning it, if flavors sit in the core too long it starts to ghost.

I'm sure you will love it.

So to avoid ghosting I need to soak the stem? I don't want to flavors to burn in... wouldn't be good.

Good Choice! I mean for the price you can't beat it.

Ghosting... Just clean your hookah every few sessions with the stem brush that comes with it. Use Dawn, Lemon Juice, or Baking Soda. Strong flavors can stick around in your hookah if you don't get them out.

Egyptian style isn't a must. Really she just wants a nice looking hookah. I'm really leaning towards the Mya or the Ebony.

Skip the Ebony and the Scarab. For a budget hookah that is still quality, you pretty much have 2 options:

Mya: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/c-241-mya-hoo...ay-hookahs.html
(not all of them are as 'stumpy' as the QT)

Magdy Zidan: http://www.socialsmoke.com/cat--Traditiona...nalhookahs.html

this MZ is a beauty
