baumann
I recently ordered a Narbish and when I got it in the mail, the part that goes in the hose port on my hookah was loose and the hose was leaking a bit. I'm not blaming John for this...it was probably a shipping issue. The weather in Oregon has been pretty hot lately, so maybe that's how it got loose.Anyway, I took it apart and glued it back together with Gorilla Glue. It's been a few days and I've smoked out of it a few times since it dried, but I can't help but wonder if I'm getting some Gorilla Glue particles in my lungs. I feel like an idiot..lolAnyone know if this is possible?
Click
This is from Gorilla Glue's website.QUOTE Gorilla Glue is a polyurethane glue. All polyurethane glues foam when they come in contact with moisture and may cause gastro-intestinal blockage if swallowed. Not sure how much moisture is needed for said 'foam' to happen. May be something to consider.
baumann
Well in all fairness, I'm not swallowing my smoke so I'm not too worried about constipation.
ilikemyusername
you'll be fine as long as you're not smoking the glue.

baumann
So when it comes time for a Nammor to "break down" after excessive use, is it the glue bondage that comes loose? I've never owned an egyptian hose before, so I'm sorta new to the whole deal.
liquidglass
gorilla glue won't hurt you to be used on your hose, esp since you let it dry. But imo electrical tape used to make tighter fits on the hoses works better.
