ilikemyusername
http://www.fohguild.org/forums/attachments...-strange015.gifI'm having a hard time making this my avatar, it says you can use.gifs and thats what this is, but it keeps saying an error has occured.see....Your avatar must be no bigger than 120 pixels by 120 pixels in size. I'll be the first to admit i'm not the most computer savvy character out there but i did a search and came up with nothing to help me, maybe someone on the forum would be so kind?Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was:No avatar was selected, please go back and correct this error

delSol_si
http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss156/d.../Strange015.gifI put that link in as my avatar and it worked. But, I will probably be deleting it from my album so you may want to make your own link. What you need to do is right click on the image, save it to your computer, go to photobucket.com, upload it to your album, and then copy and paste the link to that photo. The reason it won't work with the link you provided is that it is too long, in another words it contains too many characters. So, when you upload it to photobucket, you are able to cut out a lot of those characters, making it short enough to fit in the box alloted. I assume that whoever set up this feature for this site put a limit on how many characters a person can put in that said field, and that link exceeds the limit, so, like I said, just upload it to your photobucket account and use the link there instead. NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
first save it to your computerthen go to photobucket and upload it there into your photo bucket accountonce you do that photo bucket gives that gif a url of its own then i believe what delsol meant was to use that link and paste it into the avatar section on this forumplease correct me if im wrong
delSol_si
Yes, what NoB said, the link that photobucket gives you will already be shorter. Do NOT eff with the link itself, that will jsut mess things up even worse. ie.... photobucket url< your url when it comes to number of characters in the url.
