Actually, I would suggest NOT buying them up. His site is not secure. I was going to order from him awhile back and I brought this up before and Sloppy, I think it was, maybe someone else, shot him an email asking if he would take MF and he said no. No way am I going to risk getting my info and cc number stolen over saving a few bucks. But, I have heard too many horror stories about it him now to care a whole lot.

Oh boy this turned out to be a mess. Lets see where to begin.
I swear I am the only one WH has done right by, but that still does not excuse his actions. The only way I would purchase anything from him is if I were in his neck of the woods so I could pick it up in person.

The titans are fairly impressive companies and in their full blown state as we see them I have not seen them giving away free shit to people to win them over. I have heard of HS messing up stuff a little more than others but atleast compensating and in a timely manner. But if it happened to me it would still be in the back of my mind that they screwed up and that would make me think twice before buying again.

As for the attack on GH and their price killing I saw their stock in person while on my road trip (pics and details as soon as I am settled in....of the road trip not of gh's stock) and lets just say I wont be purchasing anything from them.

And John (please note this is not an attack) there was a time when you were handing out a bunch of AF branded stuff (not tobacco) with orders.

And who are we kidding? Everyone loves free shit.

I don't think tbacho is in the wrong, but I'm not so sure of TheHookah's intentions. Did they just do something nice for his party to get the word out there or did they get TBacho as thehookah's equivalent of "Rach"? Tbacho apoligized and agreed to not repeat the advertising here so I personally think its ok.

So lets let this go to be buried under 2000 pages of threads until one day some n00b goes OMGWTFBBQ I CAN HAZ FREE SHATS?

it seems like the toothless troll has read this thread, i was at one of my distributors today and all of their, meaning my, CH coals were bought out, and the toothless troll has them on his site for $7.95, a buck over his cost, doing this in order to "burn" my product, (they are coals idiot, they are supposed to burn) anyways, if you don't know who this is let's not make an issue out of it, since the smart thing to do is to ignore him, his sales have hit rock bottom anyways, and now "giving away" product just to spite me or to hang on to what little business he has. i would suggest you guys go over there and buy them up but you will end up getting screwed in the end, he hasn't got an order right since he started.

At least he talks you up pretty well John..... I'm not sure if i'm allowed to quote from his site but he does claim they may be the best coals ever..... so i guess its kind of a positive thing..... maybe you can talk him into linking you from his coals..... however, probably not......... hahaha.

I think that websites are expected to ship quickly and correctly. The only difference is pricing. What the little guys haven't realized is that low prices wins customers...until the prices go up or somebody beats that low price. The big shops have nothing to worry about, they can ship quickly and correctly for a reasonable price...why buy from a small guy? Special service or special selection. I think the big dogs really worry about cost cutters enduring.

I cant believe I read through this whole thread, but I got a fair amount of knowledge, mainly from John's point of view about the vendors, and I had no idea hoookahking owned the forum.

But just like I learned in econ class, everyone follows a cost, benefit, analysis of everything they do. Now for buying online there are a lot of variables, original cost of item, shipping, tax, discount/no discount, free stuff included etc and people will naturally go for the lowest price, but I would much rather spend the extra $5 and know my order will be good rather than save $5. As someone mentioned earlier they did not get a brush with their hookah, which I find essential especially with every (at least that I know) vendor has that included in what you get. That's equivalent of ordering dinner and not getting silverware in my book.

And even with selling coals for half the price, it doesn't mean shit if you have a bad rep (which they clearly do). On the other hand though if you are well recognized people will go your way. Thats what happened when I ordered from you John, personally I would of not ordered from you if I didn't here all the positive regards on here about you. Mainly because I didn't find your site that professional (no offense) but that is well made up for in quality, I know you have excellent costumer service (not by personal experience, but just by your reviews) and that is all factored into who I buy from ( couldn't resist the narbish either .) I would definitely not hesitate to buy from you again.

I certainly would not blame the op for posting about being sponsored, I know if I got sponsored by anyone I would be happy! Good job op.

WTF? His homepage is literally an exact clone of HD. Down to when you click on the word "Community" in the navigation bar it gives you a malformed URL error.
