Z2G
Hey,For some reason when I get a new set of coals on a bowl that I have been smoking for about an hour it taste like pure coal. This is happening to me everytime with different shisha. Lucid Tangiers, Starbuzz,Al fakher, etc. I am using Shishaco coals and a Tangiers funnel bowl. Any help is great. Thanks,-Christian

annual
I get 3 rounds of coals on my medium tangiers bowl with AF.Just pack it light and fluffly, decent amount of holes and put the new coals on after the old ones are less than a fingernail in size, dont put them on after the bowl has cooled down. Instead of trying to put on some fresh coals, open that baby up and check the shisha. Edited August 27, 2009 by Genie

white_rabbit
make sure your coals are completly lit... the only time i have ever had a coal taste is when the coals are not lit all the way.
Click
Keep in mind that you will need less coal with a new set. The bowl and shisha will be hot from the previous set so less heat is needed.
Enjoivolcom
Im super picky about the holes i make. Have to be super small. I find i never get a bad session with small holes in circular formation all the way to the middle

Also, let the coal sit in the ash tray for a minute or two to cool down a bit.
Codename067
Do as suggested in the posts above or just use a different brand.
