New Set Of Coals

Recommended Posts

Hey,

For some reason when I get a new set of coals on a bowl that I have been smoking for about an hour it taste like pure coal. This is happening to me everytime with different shisha. Lucid Tangiers, Starbuzz,Al fakher, etc. I am using Shishaco coals and a Tangiers funnel bowl. Any help is great.

Thanks,
-Christian

Well.... maybe it's because the shisha is all baked up by then? An hour is a nice long session with a hookah unless you've got a very large bowl.

I get 3 rounds of coals on my medium tangiers bowl with AF.
Just pack it light and fluffly, decent amount of holes and put the new coals on after the old ones are less than a fingernail in size, dont put them on after the bowl has cooled down.

Keep in mind that you will need less coal with a new set. The bowl and shisha will be hot from the previous set so less heat is needed.

This. On the second or third round, use less coal. Also, let the coal sit in the ash tray for a minute or two to cool down a bit.
