-Bones-
Depends on the medical procedure #1 Big number one anything oral or gastro or cardiovascular would be a no no for a while, Nicotine constricts the vascular walls and raises heart rate and blood pressure which could cause complications with bleeding ect ect. #2 it can have a negative effect on the immune system give yourself some time to heal up infection is the number one killer after surgeries remember its not good for you no matter which way you cut it im not saying its as bad as cigarettes but your body should devote all its energy to healing yourself #3 this all depends on the severity of the surgery if your having something like a torn meniscus or ligament fixed then you should be good to go, I know you don't want to ask your doctor and get a raft of crap hell say no dont smoke no matter what and dont forget guys and gals alot of insurance companies will raise rates/ drop you if they find out you smoke...close family member is a doctor if you have any specific questions let me know and i can ask her
