The Reviews On The Site

Once you have it, you wont go back. Smoother smoke, no sound (the gargling was nice but no biggy). Only downside is they can be a pain in the ass to get on hookahs that dont have smooth downstems. Ones that are similar to KM and have that bulgy area.

^ Yeah, he's right, once you try it you'll love it. Feels like I don't have to pull as hard. Much smoother, and although it seems like it won't fit. Installing it while running hot water on it makes for easy installation.
Plus it includes two. One large and one small. So you can put it on your mini and your at home.

A must have imo.

I don't have the Heba but I've made several of my own diffusers and won't smoke without one. Makes a world of difference.

On my little Mya, for example, if I don't use a diffuser the coals jump around.

I can't say it changes the taste, and I don't believe for a second it removes anything from the smoke like some people believe (such as that it helps remove some of the nicotine) but it defnitely cuts the sound wayyy down which is nice when you're trying to watch a movie and you're missing lines because of your bubbling rig. thanx for the opinions..honestly i think this can come in great use for me..sometimes when im smoking while watching a movie with others..i think its annoying and a bit rude of me because im ruining the movie for them with the sound..so i think in that perspective it will be worth it..but i too like to hear the gurgling of the bubbles..lol

get a bunch of straws...jam them up the downstem....

your draw doesn't get as restricted and it quiets down the thunder bubbles....

not to mention, it's a whole lot easier to install/remove... Edited by Arcane

I think I might try that next time because I just took a whole bag of straws from this one place

Check out all of HookahJohn's videos on youtube. On 1 of them where he was introducing this new yellow hookah it shows him using the difuser and taking it off and seeing the difference. Check all his videos out on his channel on youtube. One of them r the videos tongue.gif

The Heba's come with a larger one as well, all you do is take a knife and slit the lines on the heba (not the hard diffuser, the gasket / grommet), and it fits over a KM and my AF Hookah.

The Heba will enhance the flavor somewhat, decrease noise, and depending, give bigger or LESSER smoke.

I've noticed both.

I use it on my small hookah (medium Mya) and feel its worthless on my AF 36".

Ironically I was going to post that I've smoked a friends hookah with this diffuser and was turned off by the silence, but I'm smoking in my tiny apartment right now and my GF is asleep so it would actually be nice to quiet my roaring beast right now...

The bubbling is nice if you're in a social situation. It's great background noise AND is a cue that someone else is pulling on your rig (if you have a multi-hose) and that you need to wait a second before pulling on it. But at home, for me, forget it.

okay, if you really feel that you need a difusor, take a bowl grommet and punch holes in it, most people have extras laying around.
diffusors are lame though.

I don't see how this would work unless you managed to plug the end of the thing.

I have one, well two really cause they come in twos. It's been such a long time since I've smoked without it I can't really name any benefits except the noise reduction. I've been thinking about smoking without it just to see if there is any other difference. I do miss the bubbles sometimes, but if you like to smoke and watch movies it comes in handy.

Made me laugh. Reminded me of an older thread. Gromsket.

Its kind of a hit and miss, seems like it comes down to only 1 thing which is noise level.

Sooooooo if you would like your hubbly bubbly to stay bubbly then dont bother with it, and so on and so forth.

Personally i own one and i can say that i have not noticed any other difference,.......cept the noise level. Edited by tpatt90
