Cleaning Tri-metals

Recommended Posts

Wipe the cloth down with alcohol. Let it dry. Take 1/4 cup of baking soda, mix water in slowly until it's a paste, rub the paste all over the pipe, let it dry, then buff it off with a microfiber cloth.

EDIT: Little scuff marks and discolorations are normal and probably will not go away. To me, it adds to the 'antique' look of the Egyptian pipes.

just use brasso or that other brand that starts with a Z, basically anything that is used for polishing brass, copper, stainless steel, etc. Heck you can even use ketchup. Rub whatever you use on the pipe, let it glaze over for a min, then wipe it off.

Brasso works well if you want to spend some money. Baking soda works great too. I scrubbed my Kafae with a baking soda/rock salt mix and it looked great. Google 'make metal polish' or something.
