Al Fakher 2

Al Fakher 2: The Revenge of Al Fakher!

Good movie title.

200g packaging. Thats the second brand going that direction (?). Price competition with smaller packaging. [/pondering repackaging]

Also, I'm not sure who's getting 25-35 bowls from 200g...unless 6.5-8g bowls have hit the market that I didn't see...tongue.gif

I guess Al Fakher is tired of being #2 and is going after #1! Either that or South Smoke likes mentioning the name Nakhla a lot. laugh.gif

A kilo of Nak DA says it'll be a bit before this ninja tries some!

Thanks for the link!

The Al-Fakher Tobacco brand's 250 gram jars allow for Hookah users to smoke several times a month or with larger groups

You mean 'Allows for Hookah users to smoke every single day for about 3 weeks.'

what i think is funny about that line is they talk about 250g jars when the AF2 product they are selling comes in a 200g box.

I don't mind 200g packaging as long as the price is decreased to reflect it. 200g Fantasia sucks because it's the same price as other 250g packs.

Al-Fakher 2 is the latest brand to be introduced by the Al-Fakher Flavored Tobacco family, offering a more intense Double Apple flavor similar to that offered by Nakhla Double Apple.

This makes me wonder...if this new DA is supposed to be more intense to be similar to Nakhla DA, are they admitting the original AF DA is inferior to Nakhla? laugh.gif

Already got a tracking number on my order, these guys dont play around.
Says its supposed to arrive on wed. so ill be waitin impatiently.

I am hopin that they do cut the anise flavor for the most part and go with a more nakhla-esque to it.
Dont get me wrong i could sit around and smoke a bowl of AF Mint and Af DA all day long, but new things intrigue me so.........

Oh man I hope this is good! Iv been wanting some good AF DA for a while now!

Although for some reason, it popped into my mind that the "2" is for the "Two apples" flavour and not meaning AF2, but im probably wrong, thats what it came across like to me.

I wonder if this will be a continuing line and if it is unwashed or not.

+1 at first I thought I was the only one that noticed that.

This is actually a really good marketing scheme on the their part.
Regular AF 250g= Sale $10 regular $15
AF2 200g= on sale $7.50 regular price $8
That means that they reduced the amount of shisha by 20%. On sale, they reduced the price 25%, not on sale, they reduced the price 46.7% So this is actually a pretty good deal unless SS does that thing where they list a price, but cross it out and then have it on sale 365 days a year. Not to mention a lot of people don't even pay attention to the amount of shisha in the order, they see $7.50 for one and $10-15 for another and get the $7.50 thinking its cheaper without even realizing they are getting less. This seems kinda odd to me that they are reducing the price this much, but I guess they know what they are doing.

Not to mention it is probably the same thing as regular AF with a different name to psych people out. Either way, good marketing.

i actually smoked this today, it was good but i don't want to review it, i am supposed to give the distributors my honest opinion and set up 3 different hookahs, nak da, af da, and af2 and give them my results since they're all chain cigarette smokers and also, they are biased of course. It's been a long day and not sure if i will actually set myself up 3 hookahs tonight, but who knows.
Anyways at least it has 2 good qualities, it's relatively cheap and it does not come in an ed hardy tin!

i would but as a vendor i think it will be seen as biased, but i am supposed to setup 3 hookahs, af2, af 2 apples orig, and nakhla two apples and compare, i was asked to do this by some af people (don't want to mention) and give them my honest opinion, i may have to a do a review and explain it that way. maybe later tonight.
