Just Broke My Phunnel

so im carrying my hookah and stuff out to my car so i can take it to a party at my buddies house and i dropped my phunnel and it broke i was going to smoke tangiers tonight too guess i have to smoke out of a regular bowl tonight such a sad day does tangiers smoke good at all out of a regular bowl

ive smoked out of a regular and it will work..but you lose alot of juices through the holes and down the stem..why not try finding a place local to you and see if they sell phunnels

If you have a Mya bowl, take a tealight candle, empty out the aluminium, pop the baccy into the tea light and drop it in the Mya bowl. Works really well

Good idea. Don't have a mya bowl but a similair one. Will try this soon, thanks.

I assume you have all three so you should be set. if your missing your pinky you can substitute with any other finger.

Here's how I do Tang in an Egyptian bowl:

Place your thumb over the center hole in your Egyptian bowl. Keep it there. With your other hand, pack Tangiers tightly around your thumb. This should create a ring of tobacco with a hole where your thumb is. Take your thumb out, and it should stay in place if you packed it hard enough. Foil it as usual, but go lighter on the coals.

Aw, that sucks..my own medium phunnel got a nice chip in the side, but its going pretty good

Tangiers works fine on a egyptian, just place your thumb in the CENTER and pack everything around it to the rim. Compress it down SLIGHTLY with the foil to give it a depression and the center will FILL itself in..you need that center for airflow, otherwise packing Tang so tight = no air flow.

Once foiled, and holes are poked (ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM ), blow OUT of the bottom to give it some more air flow.

I personally wouldn't smoke my tangiers without a phunnel

I just stock a lot of them at once
