Codename067
Not sure what you mean by pros and cons.It all comes down to how the hookah is designed.

RingsMaster
QUOTE (NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD @ Aug 31 2009, 08:19 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>the stems on those hookahs makes me hate them..just hate the way they look..lol performance wise its been down the middle..some say they smoke great while other say the stem is not long enough or something..yeah alot of people say the downstem isnt long enough for their new style bases and while this is a problem im still getting one anyways cause you can fix it with a peice of tubing which is cheap as hell or just buy a new base for it which is what im going to do because i dont really like the way the stock on looks. however from the people i talk to they say it smoke great and i love the looks. the difference in material also has alot to do with rusting. some materials rust faster than others and if your one of those leave your hookah in the water overnight night kind of guys like my roomate youll want to invest in something in the dual metal or tri metal like the KM's have, well some of them. and by leave in the water i mean he leaves his hookah in his base over night in with water in it

phantastik
i own x2 KM trimetals and a current gen AF solid, I'm pitiful with the washing (i.e, in the special ways with particular ingredients... lemon water/baking soda/etc.) but mines still shiney! as far as performance, its no difference to me, although the port for the hose is much bigger on the AF then the kms. Giant Ninja Robot
brass pipes are just fucking sexy. that's all there is to it If you want it to stay shiny you'll have to use brasso ot turtlewax or something though.

Sonthert
I like 'em dark and tarnished. Brass is always superior. The one setback is that its slightly softer and more fragile than steel. Otherwise, its win-win.I say go for the Al Fakher hookah.
