I went to this hookah bar around my school to check the prices because we had never been there.
I asked the basics, how much, how long, brands, food, type of hookah...
All of that. He answered everything, except the hookahs which made me believe they might be some rip offs, but it's fine.

Anyways, he said that Starbuzz was THE BEST EXOTIC TOBACCO OUT THERE.
I said "Yeah... Everyone's entitled to their own opinion right?"
He just looked at me and I said "Well, I might be back. See ya!"

I honestly didn't understand his way of charging.
First he said "Its 8 dollars per person if you want to sit on the chairs, and 10 if you want to sit on the sofas" which is pretty stupid already.
But then he said "Itll cost 14 dollars for a hookah" and from that point, I didn't understand what he was saying. It was too confusing.
From what I gathered, it's going to be upwards 30 dollars for 2 people... Plus, the place doesn't have food because "Theyre not allowed to"

I've been to a few in the chicagoland (Hubble hookah, friends hookah lounge, House of hookah, Basement hookah) and I think a few more, but none of them have done that...
Can you explain?

That sucks. This is the exact reason I just wound up buying my own hookah. The bars charge crazy prices, and you spend that money on a mix you don't even know for sure if it will be good or not. No telling how many hookahs I could have bought because of going to bars. The only time I go to a bar now is if I'm out of town or for whatever reason I run out of tobacco, which I try my best to make sure doesn't happen.

If you go to a lounge in the city ie. budda lounge cover is like x dollars at teh bar and different amount in a booth and a different amount for the tables above the dance floor. so this is why they do this to make more money. if you have a car chek out lux chatau in lombard its not too far away from you just take 355 to Roosevelt rode and its on main and roosevelt. the service there is amazing, he has a wide variety of brands and flavors including tangiers. and he's only biased to double apple.

the Chicago smoking regulations are messed up as it is but somehow the hookah lounges keep staying open. a lot of the suburbs that are not in cook county have this way of running their lounges.

they always have student discounts so find them on facebook and friend them to get some deals i think right now for students its like 5 dollar hookah with free refill ??? not sure.

well of course sb is the best bc it's the most expensive, well now that ed hardy is the most expensive ed hardy shisha is THE BEST EXOTIC TOBACCO OUT THERE.
jk, they're all just fine and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. most "hip" lounges around here only carry sb, and it seems as though they have to. if a "hip" lounge was to carry nakhla i could see people walking away at the door. image is everything. you could have asked if they have anything else, some of the lounges around here that claim to be sb only actually carry nak da and af grape, since those are the 2 most popular flavors on the planet, supposedly.
