rhineholt
I went to this hookah bar around my school to check the prices because we had never been there.I asked the basics, how much, how long, brands, food, type of hookah...All of that. He answered everything, except the hookahs which made me believe they might be some rip offs, but it's fine.Anyways, he said that Starbuzz was THE BEST EXOTIC TOBACCO OUT THERE.I said "Yeah... Everyone's entitled to their own opinion right?"He just looked at me and I said "Well, I might be back. See ya!"I just thought I'd share this with you. First he said "Its 8 dollars per person if you want to sit on the chairs, and 10 if you want to sit on the sofas" which is pretty stupid already. But then he said "Itll cost 14 dollars for a hookah" and from that point, I didn't understand what he was saying. It was too confusing. From what I gathered, it's going to be upwards 30 dollars for 2 people... Plus, the place doesn't have food because "Theyre not allowed to"... haha

kdkhookah
QUOTE (rhineholt @ Sep 1 2009, 10:39 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I would love to do that, but I can't have a hookah on campus. That sucks. This is the exact reason I just wound up buying my own hookah. The bars charge crazy prices, and you spend that money on a mix you don't even know for sure if it will be good or not. No telling how many hookahs I could have bought because of going to bars. The only time I go to a bar now is if I'm out of town or for whatever reason I run out of tobacco, which I try my best to make sure doesn't happen. supersubby
here in chi their tobacco revenue has to be majority of their revenue in order to keep their hookah bidness open. If you go to a lounge in the city ie. budda lounge cover is like x dollars at teh bar and different amount in a booth and a different amount for the tables above the dance floor. so this is why they do this to make more money. if you have a car chek out lux chatau in lombard its not too far away from you just take 355 to Roosevelt rode and its on main and roosevelt. the service there is amazing, he has a wide variety of brands and flavors including tangiers. and he's only biased to double apple.
