Getting Back Into The Game

Recommended Posts

Some of you may remember me posting a small amount from here before, but i'm starting over, i had that shisha shisha twisted sublime hookah, well it never hit well, and eventually the stem broke.. so i'm junking it... the vase was cool so i might keep that.. i want to start small this time. i don't have much money, so i was looking at the mya qt.. is this a good starting point, i was always going to the hookah bar so i thought i knew my stuff before. i have no idea, but i do notice that my bar only have mya hookahs, so should i start there or can someone reccomend me something better at the 50 dollar price range

Mya QT is a keeper I smoke mine all the time! I love it. Hit's great and I can clean it in under 5 minutes without the need for a tub. Phunnel, QT, Nammor.... half the time that's my exact setup for smoking!

Can't go wrong with the QT. It smokes really well. Make sure that you have the right amount of water in the base if you aren't using a washable hose. Since there isn't much room between the water and the hose port, it can easily splash into the hose port and into your hose if you put too much in. I put the water about half an inch above the downstem with the QT. Also, don't expect it to be able to fully purge, which isn't a big deal anyway.

On that note, mostly all of the small Mya's will smoke well. Choose what you think looks good. I personally went with the QT because it has a wide base that won't easily tip over. Edited by Berked

I'd get the original QT. Econo is made out of lighter materials.

Ok well i went ahead and ordered the qt, got some lemon mint, and cucumber flavored shish as well.

My next question is can someone recommend me a good stem to bring that awesome bowl of the twisted sublime back together, or is the vase just a piece of junk as well?

Congrats on the purchase. I got my QT about 3 years ago and its still smoking great, it's my everyday smoker and quite easy to setup/breakdown/clean. You'll def be happy you got one. Not sure about the stem for that base, sorry. Cucumber shisha, where is this from?

It was one of the free flavors they threw in.. it's from a brand called romman, it's called summer crisp, can't wait to try it!
