mattarios2
Yeah red, i used this method, got good smoke tonight, no flavor still. But I am being recommended by the master to change up acclimation from 4/20 to 2/22 to see what happens. Thanks for the guide, definitely works. redjako
This is the same sort of packing I use with Lucid, just not as dense..unsure why it seems to work fine for Lucid with a 5 hour session without MONSTER compressing the bowl, GLAD ITS HELPING OUT! ammoura1
out of curiosity, when you say "4 rounds", is it 4 rounds of charcoal? If so, when using 4 pieces of charcoal, do you place each new round at the same spot as before? thanks

I didn't time it, but Exotica's last on average 40-45 min a piece.I'll use less coal then the previous rounds..like, all my rounds (except the final round) I only had 3 pieces of 1/2" Exotica's.I'll place them on the phunnel around the previous coal round, but it really makes no difference. If you find a sweet spot with the coals, you don't move em.Sometimes more and more rounds = some hassle finding that sweet spot (I'd say you may have to keep moving them around, in, out, off the edge, etc for 5 minutes on your second round, then the laters are easier).Cheers. clickhea
this is pretty much how i been packing my bowls for the past month or so.everyone on the forum loves to add tons and tons of shisha, i never got good results with that method. pinky
I made the same experience. I get the best results with this amount of tobacco. If compressed with foil the sisha is about the level of the phunnel.
JOE
this is the first good tangiers smoke I've had, huge clouds, and great flavor with melon blend. I actually used two quarters to compress. I was definately underpacking my bowls before, now i think i got it thanks!

I never bothered with a foil smush twist thing.

Nice.Love it when people get Tangiers...you stop thinking everyone on the HookahForum is a cultist of Eric. The foil test isn't to just compress the shisa (to the poster above me), its to test the width.Helps for consistency, because for so long my Tangiers packing was hit or miss..which is very frustrating. Sonthert
Ok, how about a quarter to a quarter and a half? Two quarters should be OK, too. Maybe a little strong. [/southern accent]If it works for you, do it that way.
