Svaals
I decided to forgo the studying thing today and indulge in non-stop hookah smoking and watching college ball. So far it looks like it will be an interesting season. BYU upset OU, Mizzou looked good despite losing a lot of starters, and the new coach at Washington seems to be making an impact. What does everyone think so far? Tyler
UGH! Talk about a headache of a day! First of all, Navy almost beats OSU, good thing for Rolle savign that 2 point conversion. Then Illinois gets shut out basically, which is very epressing on a team trying to make a conference impact. Don't even get me started on the OU game. VT could have beaten Bama but they gave up in the 4th qtr. Right now, Washington is holding their own against LSU, the team thought to challenge Florida for the SEC title this year. Lets just hold out for FSU beating Miami and I won't care anymore

I'm really amped about the OU upset; The Mountain West made an impact last year, and I'd like to see that conference get a little more cred. Plus, being a Mizzou fan made that sort of gratifying. Particularly after watching OU crush Mizzou's shot at a BCS game for two years in a row. Edited September 6, 2009 by Svaals
Tyler
Mizzou has nothing to do with OU, Mizzou is Big 12 North, OU is Big 12 South. When OU beats them again in the Big 12 champ game, I'll laugh. Although, it's going to be OU and Nebraska.
Svaals
I could see Nebraska taking the North, but I really don't see OU taking the South. Even before Bradford got injured today, the offensive line looked terrible, and the Sooners just couldn't run the ball. I think Texas or OSU will take the South. I wouldn't count Missouri out of the North, either. I know the Illini are not the best test for the team, but they certainly brought more experience than Mizzou today, and it wasn't enough for them. Tyler
The fact they won by less than 40 points = struggle
Svaals
I agree that Texas should have more soundly whooped LA-M. I still think that Texas is more likely to win the south than OU. Even if Bradford comes back early, his offense will struggle behind a rookie O-line getting beat up front. Even with the relatively bad defenses in the Big 12, I don't see the formula for OU taking the conference.
likespaceships
That o-line looked pitiful. The two stud running backs should have carried the offense when bradford went down. Miami had a big win and if they can get past Oklahoma and win out I can see them making some BCS noise.
Pointerpride102
Just wait till Texas plays IN Wyoming. They will absolutely steam roll WYO. How on earth WYO got Texas to come play at their house is beyond me.BYU will falter down the road. They always seem too. Oklahoma is in big trouble now losing their TE. QB should be back in a week or two, but another loss and the season is dunbar. Their schedule is a biatch too.If a Big Ten team goes to another good bowl game only to get rolled I'll be pissed. That whole conference need an overhaul. But, Go Badgers.
Tyler
BYU will lose to FSU. Oklahoma State will win the Big12 and will play Florida in the National Title game, and win.
