It's all good, The other topic was just telling us it was out he wasn't buying anything. I'm looking forward to ur opinion so please let us know tongue.gif

Done and done (spits in palm of hand before shaking hands to seal the deal!)

Ordered the 5 flavors and will post on them! Also got some more coals to try, a pair of silicone vase
gaskets to try also and my free Vortex bowl (my other paid for Vortex bowl wasn't that bad...) I'll
try anything once (especially with a vendor code that works) ;)

And to think I was gonna "pull" this thread...

Interested to see how these turn out, hope for the best (skeptical though since it is from Sahara/Hookah-Hookah)... Edited by Jeff_T

let us know if its just as bad of a cut as the regular lines and how it smokes

Regular lines? Of regular shisha or of bagasse based shisha or???

It's supposedly made from fresh tea leaves, I doubt it will look anything at all like Hydro or Black Label.

My order should be here by Tuesday... Might not get to a bowl until Friday! I am hoping it's not a waste
of Tea leaves as I do enjoy many cups of good tea a day (Russian Early Grey kicks hard ass) wink.gif We shall see!

hmm.... one bag of earl gray and one teaspoon of glycerine....

Dried tea tastes like crap when it burns, I've tried it it with variations of molasses, honey, and glycerin. Haven't tried herbal tea yet though, wondering if it it would smoke different but the green, Earl Grey, and Jasmine tasted so nasty I've been unmotivated to try.

Mine should come by Monday, woot! Russian Earl Grey? I'm intrigued. I drink tea daily, can't live without it. Earl Grey is one of my favorites, I'll have to look into getting some Russian Earl Grey now.

Having trouble imagining a peanut butter shisha, little leary about that one but still eager to try the tea-shas.

Nakhla Earl Grey is one of my favorite shishas these days. Edited by Genie

Well, I got my order yesterday, fast shipping!

Tried out a bowl of the Peanut butter today. MYA Bambino, MNH jet
funnel, 2 CH QL's, heavy duty foil and heat shield.

On a scale of 1-3 it's a 1... Smelled good in the container and was a
definite peanut butter flavor at first. Not a sweet smoke or tasty like
the sandwich spread, but rather akin to the peanut butter served on Cold
Sesame Noodles (a very tasty Chinese food.)

It uses actual peanut oil for the flavoring! Some warnings tho smile.gif I don't
know if the flavor will ever leave the hose and it's not a smoke for party/
multi bowl sessions as the hookah WILL need a good cleaning between
flavors. I had just changed bowls and hoses and it ghosting... My usual
hot water rinsing isn't going to do it today when done...

Cut is coarse thin slices and it's jet black. Quite moist. Does not like too
much heat as the flavor goes away and it gets a bit harsh. Never a taste
of tea when harsh tho. Clouds were decent.

Lemonade smells fruity and brisk, grape is overpowering, green apple smells
like a chemistry set flavor and pumpkin pie is ok.

So far, it's a tie between the "told you so's" and the "someone has to try its."

Hmmm. Not terribly promising. But maybe I'll be surprised and love it!

Nakhla's Cardamom (which should be called Menthol) totally skanked my hose a few weeks ago. Left it hanging a few days and the flavor dissipated, thankfully. It wasn't a washable hose.

Promising.

Hmmm.

Still excited to try them. Are they "robust" in flavor as promised?

Was it good?

It was! Flavor didn't last very long although the clouds were massive throughout. And not because of tons of nasty glycerin in it either, in fact, I never got a hint of glycerin taste. The flavor was good while it lasted, but after 20 minutes I knew the flavor was gone and I was just smoking the tea, which wasn't entirely unpleasant. But after 30 minutes there was no flavor at all. Might try packing it a little heavier in the phunnel next time and see how it does.

I always wondered about a tea-based shisha alternative. I know the other alternatives are sugar beats, right? Given that regular shisha is mostly glycerine and food additives, I wonder if you can actually brew the tea-sha and drink it? Sounds weird, but I think it might work as a sweet, flavored tea.

Might have to pick up some for a trial.

lol advertising on youtube is an art all of its own

the story of tea began in ancient china over 5,000 years ago
according to legend tea rooms and houses were built to enjoy tea at a social and spiritual level
today, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world following water
AND NOW
hookah-hookah has absolutely ruined the tea and shisha tradition!

Sugar beets? Haven't heard of that as an herbal shisha base. It's usually sugar cane pulp a.k.a. sugarcane bagasse.

I wouldn't want to drink this stuff--for one thing they don't tell you what all is in it--who knows what the preservatives are. Tea, smoked straight, is pretty strong. I think this stuff has been brewed or washed or soaked or something then put in the shisha as a base.
