Tyler
So, obviously I am heavily upset about the Noles losing but after letting it simmer for a few hours I have come to a few decisions. 1) Both teams, unlike everyone else in week 1, came to play football. Not to warm up, not to fight a cream puff, they came out to fight their archrivals dating back to the '50s in what was once the game that decided that National Title. 2) Both teams show serious promise for regaining their national power. Miami plays Oklahoma, FSU plays BYU, the other two teams that made noise this weekend. 3) Bobby Bowden won't leave on a year when he loses his opener, especially at home, and especially against Miami. 4) If FSU runs the table, which they can up to Florida when their hopes could be dashed, they can be in the BCS title talk. Same with Miami.5) The ACC is much stronger than they appear. Sure, our lesser teams lost to FCS teams, but we only got to see VT play a real team and put up a hell of a fight against a team who some say will be in the National Title game. FSU Miami VT GT in that order for ACC.6) There will be a rematch for the ACC title game.7) I just watched an instant classic and one of the greatest games ever. Ever. Jeff_T
I don't really follow either of these teams, but because it's college football, I watched the game tonight. I have to say it was the best game I saw this weekend. Sorry FSU about the loss but Miami looked pretty good. Interested to see what will happen in a few weeks when they take on OU.Forgot to add, different time management for FSU during the last 45sec. could have very easily changed the game. Tyler
Yeah those 17 seconds we lost could have allowed us to try 2 running plays, and judging from the rest of the game, they would have scored and won. It wouldn't be that bad if it was any team other than Miami But being our rival I hate giving them credit
ProbablyTaken
All in all good points.I just want Univ. of Utah to get its due. I think they had a shot at being the best team in the nation last year, but we don't get to show it.

Tyler
I think USC was the best team last year, honestly. They manhandled Ohio State who almost beat Texas, and many people say Texas was the best. I think it should have been USC vs Utah, USC would have won 36-28ish.
