Pointerpride102
I know there are a few college football fans, how about NFL? If so what is your team?Born and raised a Packer fan. Can't wait for them to smoke the Bears this Sunday.
*sigh*
Packer Fan here, although I will pull for the home town Cardinals in any game other than against the Packers. Not really sure how I became a Packers fan, just have been my whole life (I have no connection what so ever to Wisconsin)
Pointerpride102
Good choice though! I pulled for the Cards in the SB last year. Really thought they had it. I think they're going to have a tough season this year. Pack really put the hurt on them in the preseason....but that's just preseason.I was born and raised in WI, hence my connection to the Pack. Getting rid of Brett was the best move the Packers made in a long, long time. Don't get me wrong I loved every minute of the 16 years he spent in GB, but Aaron Rodgers simply was the better guy. Favre was given the chance to come back, waffled, and so the organization moved on. I was at the Giants/Packers NFC Championship game and he just looked like he had enough of the game. The spark just wasn't there like it was in the Seattle game the week prior, which I was also at. I cannot and will not cheer for him this season. Let me guess, you think TT ran him out of town? Jeff_T
Not really a huge NFL fan, def. like college football more, but I always watch NFL games. I guess my team(s) would be the Cards and the Seahawks.

Svaals
Tennessee fan here. It's hard to cheer for the locals guys when you live near KC. Spent my whole life cheering, and they've gotten worse and worse. The fact that the I live in the Midwest just ruins the NFL for me. All these great games on, and I'm always stuck watching the Chiefs lose by 30+ points.

I was curious to see if there would be enough people out there to warrant starting a Survivor pool. Similar to the pool started for the college football world. Each week everyone picks a team, if they lose you're out (or if there are only a few guys can do the 3 strike rule or version like it) and you can only pick each team one time. I would suggest no one pick the Lions in game one.So anyone interested in it? Maybe everyone plan on pitching in a 250 g tub of their favorite brand/flavor and make it a winner take all or something like that?

Pointerpride102
The Titans blew that game last night. Both teams played ok and will be decent this coming season. Can't wait for Sunday!
NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
its going to be a different season for the titans..nothing like last year..albert is gone and there defensive coordinator is gone..they kept leaving ward and holmes wide open..i was impressed with there rookie kenny britt..and also collins didnt do to bad..but who did the worst? BIRONIS!!!..come on your one of the best kickers in the game and you miss 2 fgs? game should not have gone in OT..should have been over with a score of 16-
Pointerpride102
Exactly, Bironis lost that game. I don't think the Titans will have as good of a season as they did last year either, but I also don't think they'll be bad. Big Ben does a hell of a job sucking up those safeties with the pump fakes which frees up Holmes and Ward. I heard Polamalu is out for a few weeks.
