Havanna tobacco

Recommended Posts

Since other people can flagrantly use untested or unproven websites, I will, too.Information on food coloring:http://www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htmSee, under "Artificial Colors"It is likely that the following colors are used in tobacco:Blue#1Yellow#5 (Yellow)Yellow#6 (Orange)Red#40That "green color" is a keyed combination of the colors, likely blue 1 or blue 2 and yellow five or six, while orange is actually yellow #6 (or is it yellow#5, one is orange, one is yellow but I forget which is which). The philosophy of the passage on artificial colors, which I share, of course, is:"Most artificial colorings are synthetic chemicals
that do not occur in nature...you should simply avoid all artificially colored foods. The use of coloring usually indicates that
fruit or other natural ingredient has
not been used."The information on artificial flavors is intersting, but not applicable to tobacco flavors. None of Tangiers' flavors use HVP or MSG.In short, Steve, I think the answer to the question "Why dye it?" is to make you think there is something natural in it. I have heard people directly lie and say "The color is because of the natural fruit." or "It only contains fruit, honey and glycerine."

I don't get it, I for one prefer it in it's natural state coloring it wouldn't change my impression one the product eaither way. Just because it's colored doesn't mean it's a good product. but thanks for your input.

I would think that the coloring in tobacco might be the safest way to use coloring...you probably aren't ingesting any of it. I just want to put it out there, so people don't say "You knew and didn't tell us?!?" there are problems, potentially. Now you all know.

Havana is by far my favorite.  Especially for the price.
It's priced like a mid-level tobacco (less than Fahkar) but maintains a
better taste.

It's very true to the flavor, I wouldn't describe it as a "candy
tobacco".  Al-waha fits that description better.  Havana also
does not have the harsh, gritty tobacco taste on the end like Nahkla
and some flavors of Fumari.

The price is pretty nice.  http://www.elitehookah.com/catalog/product...fo.php?cPath=23 &products_id=33

I think I read that it's just Red Apple... But I could be wrong.. I really enjoy Special Apple from Havana. Very refreshing for me.. and my buds enjoyed it as much as I did. I've smoked Strawberry, Special Apple, and Plum... Special Apple being my favorite so far.. others were still very good smokes.
