ntur Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 so im not sure if this is completely true or not, but my girlfriend just told me that congress passed a law that will make all flavored tobacco illegal in the united states by the end of the month. she said that this will include shisha.if anyone knows if this is for real im dying to know. especially if i would still be allowed to buy online, otherwise i need to go on a shopping spree. Nothing in this subparagraph shall be construed to limit the Secretary's authority to take action under this section or other sections of this Act applicable to menthol or any artificial or natural flavor, herb, or spice not specified in this subparagraph. The bill that passed recently was about cigarettes, not shisha. No more flavored ciggs except menthol. There are other restrictions as well, but it won't affect shisha. [/quote] They're no longer being marketed as "cigarettes". They and other companies are changing their wrappers to cigar brown and labeling the product as cigarillos.
