Way Of Closing Hose Holes...

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

I found a burried cobra hose in my old stuff, checked it and it's got some tiny holes -don't know if they actually affect the hooka's performance haven't tested it- and I want to close them.

Is there any walkthrough for that? biggrin.gif

Thank you.

if you can spot the leak by putting the outer part of the hose under some shallow water and blowing in the hose, then mark the holes [unless you know where they are] then drop some candle wax on them.

Baseball bat tape, very flexible yet sticky. Sticks to itself quite well, just wrap it several times around for each hole.

This was my thoughts. Wrap the area around the hole, not just 1 strip that you repeatedly go over. Make it 3-4 strips wide just to be more secure.

This is a real interesting idea. To me it seems as though the wax would be real real short term and the wax would just get knocked off after a couple uses. Could always hot glue the area and tape over that.

laugh.gif  That's exactly what I did!

It isn't completely shield though, a tiiiinyyyy leakage exists. But I think the air it looses is so minor that it doesn't affect the performance...
