Best Buzz!

Recommended Posts

My friend and I were talking the other day about which shisha gave the best buzz, and, despite our differing opinions, I'm curious as to what other hookah smokers think. What shisha gives the best buzz in your opinion? This is very general, taking into consideration that certain shisha needs to be "acclimated" and what not, and of course the issue of coals vs. amount of smoke contributes to what some would consider a "good buzz." That aside, however, what gives you the best buzz all around?

If there is a topic already about this, hit me with it, because I'm looking for some good buzz action!

Prepare for 30 posts saying:

"Tangiers Original (Noir)".

There is no doubt in my mind, Tangiers Original (aka Noir) line of tobacco gives the best buzz.

If you want something far superior to a shisha buzz, check out Desi Murli. It is more similar to the traditional tobaccos.

before i got used to both, i actually liked Nakhla's buzz better than Tangiers....

Nakhla has that nice, calm, relaxing buzz....Tangiers, if not overpacked a little, has a "where the fuck did my face go?" buzz....

Def. Nakhla but I have never tried tangiers. But if you want a stronger buzz than desi murli try Tombac. All it is, is natural tobacco leaves and its like lighting up 5 cigars at once....This stuff you cant inhale like normal shisha you HAVE to puff unless you want your lungs to bleed and die out on you lol.

Honestly, I found I got a much more ENJOYABLE buzz from layalina, but nahkla was stronger, just almost sickening. Tangiers is like a drunk buzz.

Man, good thing people posted up Romman. We smoke primarily Romman, with the occasional Starbuzz and Layalina, but nothing gets a buzz like Romman so far. I've heard a lot about Nakhla and Tangiers, but with the latter I know there is a severe heat distribution problem and I dunno if I want to mess with that. I've also heard that Nakhla's flavor kinda blows. This could all be terrible info, but it hasn't failed me yet with Romman and Starbuzz (some flavors).

That is terrible info...Nakhla is great and has tons of flavor and a nice buzz

Its terrible info to an extent.

I used to think Nakhla's flavor sucked balls..... and then i learned to pack it right..... not so much anymore. With Nak you just have to put more in...... if you fluff it like you can with starbuzz, at least with my experience, you end up with shitty smoke and a soft flavor..... However, as said many times..... treat Nak right and she'll give up her deisel clouds and killer flavor.

This. I don't smoke that often, so still get a buzz from both Nakhla and Tangiers. Nakhla gives me a calmer feeling. Tangiers definately packs a bigger buzz, but if I smoke solo I find it really uncomfortable. But if I smoke with a friend I enjoy Tangiers' buzz as well.

Sorry to have to say this, Tangiers lovers, but.. Desi Murli gives the ultimate buzz. I've smoked Tang and Desi, and Desi gives a full body buzz. Everything tingles. Just mix it with another shisha and smoke it, or try to smoke it straight, though it's harsh. You'll be floating. smile.gif

The Nakhla Zarghoul (spell?) makes me black out for a second after a big pull. Thats what the old men smoke in Cairo, in between packs of unfiltered cigarettes.

Smoking Nakhla right now: Slight buzz. Tangiers though, with just about any flavor, will get me buzzing hard after 15min.

I heard that if you just put the coal on the nahkla with no foil it gives a humungous buzz

Nakhla is not meant to be smoked without foil. There are traditional tobaccos on the market (Desi Murli for one) that can be smoked without foil. Don't expect it to be pleasant though. If you can take a huge hit off a cigar and not cough, you might be okay to try it.

Tangiers.

But also, whatever tobacco you are using, cut up any stems into small pieces and mix that in with the tobacco. There is a good amount of nicotine in the stems which should give it an extra kick!
