Tangiers and Starbuzz Reviews

Reviews of Tangiers Kashmir Peach/Root Beer/Mint and Starbuzz Raspberry/Kiwi/Mango/Wild Berry Mint.  I've smoked a couple bowls (or more) of each now, so each got tested with another setup (probably) than what's listed as well.-------------------------------------Tangiers Kashmir PeachSetup: 26" Egyptian, large ceramic bowl, foil, 1 3K in 2 halves on the outer edges of the bowl.Appearance: Big black pieces.  Somewhat juicy, but not dripping like AF or Starbuzz.Smell: Kashmir, not much peach.  Makes my mouth water just smelling it.Flavor: Peach on inhale, kashmir (floral) on exhale.  Really potent kashmir when exhaling through nose.Smoke: asdfasdfasdf.  I can't see the screen ;-)Buzz: Smooth buzz, great!Overall: Best smoke I've ever had.  The Kashmir keeps me coming back.  It mixes very well with Tangiers mint.-------------------------------------Tangiers Root BeerSetup: Taqseem Spider, large ceramic bowl, foil, 1 3K + .5 later onAppearance: Standard Tangiers, can't tell them apart from the looks.Smell: Spot-on root beer.  It seems to have developed a very slight chemical odor after a week.Flavor: Tastes like root beer, though not as potent as the aroma.  Good.Smoke: Thick.Buzz: No buzz from this one actually.Overall: A good ma'assel, though I was expecting a little better.  It's definitely not as good as Kashmir Peach. :-)-------------------------------------Tangiers MintSetup: Taqseem Spider, large ceramic bowl, foil, 1 3K + .5 a little later onAppearance: Standard Tangiers, can't tell them apart from the looks.Smell: Smelled just like Wrigley's Spearmint gum.  Tasty.Flavor: Awesome mint flavor, very good cooling feeling in the back of the throat.Smoke: Thick.Buzz: Small buzz, not like Kashmir Peach though.Overall: Best mint I've had so far.  Much better than AF's mint which was my previous favorite.  It mixed well with Kashmir Peach (mmm!)-------------------------------------Starbuzz Wild Berry MintSetup: 26" Egyptian, small stainless bowl, foil, 1 3K + .5 3K after the first was done.Appearance: Reddish, fine cut, not real gritty.  Packed easily.Smell: Definitely some berry, some mint.  I swear I smelled apple somewhere (not likely?).  Reminds me of a Skittle.Flavor: Berry flavor on inhale, cool on exhale.  Very flavorfulSmoke: Thick, though I was expecting more.  Then again, I've been smoking Tangiers lately too ;-)Buzz: None as far as I could tell.Overall: A decent shisha, not sure if it'd be worth the high price of Starbuzz though.-------------------------------------Starbuzz KiwiSetup: 26" Egyptian, small stainless bowl, foil, 1 3K + .5 3K after the first was done.Appearance: Fine cut, not real gritty.  Packed easily.  Juicy.Smell: Smells like a kiwi I guess.  My closest ma'assel experience with kiwi is Al Amir Kiwi-Strawberry so I don't have anything to compare against.Flavor: Good flavor, lots of it.  Can definitely tell what you're smoking.Smoke: Thick, but not Tangiers thick.Buzz: None as far as I could tell.Overall: Good, but once again, the price is high for it.-------------------------------------Starbuzz MangoSetup: 26" Egyptian, small stainless bowl, foil, 1 3K + .5 3K after the first was done.Appearance: Fine cut, not real gritty.  Packed easily.  Juicy.Smell: Doesn't really smell like a mango to me.  I prefer the aroma of Al Amir Mango to this.Flavor: Very flavorful, tastes like a fruit.  Can't tell if it's mango or not really, but it tastes good.Smoke: Thick, same as the other Starbuzzes.Buzz: None as far as I could tell.Overall: Okay, but wouldn't really recommend when there are better flavors about.-------------------------------------Starbuzz RaspberrySetup: 26" Egyptian, large ceramic bowl, foil, 1.5 3K + .5 3K after the first was done.Appearance: Fine cut, not real gritty.  Packed easily.  Juicy.Smell: Mouth-watering raspberry.Flavor: Excellent flavor.  Tastes very much like a raspberry.  Best Starbuzz I've tried.Smoke: Thick throughout the session.Buzz: None as far as I could tell.Overall: Excellent, the best Starbuzz I've tried.  I'd highly recommend this if you're looking for a raspberry ma'assel.

Some of my flavors smell alot stronger than they taste...cinnamon comes to mind. Alot of flavor gets stuck in the water.

My next order will have Tangiers Kashmir Peach, Starbuzz Raspberry, AF Bahraini and double apple AF.

This has been a conern of mine since I started using one...Sorry for the off topic question... nice reviews -- so many good reviews of the Kashmir Peach, I was sold a while ago. Now I just get more excited with each one... That mint sounds promising, too... you said AF mint was your previous favorite -- what other brands have you tried? I'm currently using Al Amir and the Starbuzz Social Smoke mix for mint...
