Mixing Nakhla With Zaghoul

Recommended Posts

I mixed 20g of mizo guava with 10g of zaghoul ... goodness ... the buzz was quite powerful.

I would say it is right up there with tangiers ... if memory serves me right from the last time I had a really good tangiers bowl.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the zaghoul didn't over power the guava. I figured i'd only be able to mix zaghoul with stronger flavors like cherry, margarita, mint, da, and so on, but nope, tasted the guava just fine with a nice spicy note from the zaghoul.

I am going to try 15g mizo or og and 15g zaghoul and see what happens ...

Eric if you see this, do you know how much nicotine zaghoul has?

The box claims .7% but we all know that is probably gar-bage!

So anyways, if any of you nakhla fans crave a bigger buzz, this gives more body to the tobacco, more buzz, and more of a sting in the smoke if you know what I mean, give it a shot, I know I will be ordering a shit ton of zaghoul in the future.

Anyone know how much nicotine is in their other non flavored tobaccos?

ok, honestly ... this is the greatest find I think I have ever had in my life. Much stronger tobacco taste but still has the full flavor of whatever you mix it with, better buzz, and just better taste overall.

So far I have tried it with mizo peach, mizo guava, and mizo cherry.

Guava and Peach being much lighter flavors responded better to the zag than cherry.

When i used guava with zag I tasted more guava than I do with a full bowl of guava and same goes for peach.

On the other hand when i did it with cherry, cherry tasted weaker ... coincidence?

Yay!!!! Zag is getting more appreciation!!! I'm really surprised more people haven't experimented with Zaghoul yet. Good posting Mattarios.
My favorite Zaghloul mixes:

1. Havana Banana Honey and Zag
2. Havana Pipe and Zag
3. AF Pipe and Zag
4. AF Vanilla and Zag
5. Al Waha Cherry and Zag
6. Nakhla Choco Mint and Zag
7. Nakhla or AF Banana with Zag

If you like Zaghloul, Salloum plain is pretty good as well.

AMAZING MAN!!!!!

I have a 250 of zag mixed with agave and glycerine just sitting there in a tub waiting for the day I feel brave enough to smoke it again and ALAS THAT DAY HAS COME!

I never even though to mix it with something else :/

The buzz floors me so this'll be fun to experiment with.

so do you guys still put foil on the bowl right? The last time smoked Zag it was with no foil. I am guessing I should use foil.

I hate it when I practically answer my own question. sad.gif

Anyway on another note...nobody has nakhla in their veins? Zaghloul is strong but come on! hehe mayb something is wrong with me haha.

definitely with foil, set it up exactly how you normally would, but mix it with zag ... obviously, heh

oh and a quick note, if you find it to be TOO strong which I doubt you will, seeing how much more I taste the flavor ... you can add a bit of glyc to the zag just to make it shiny, not soaked or anything, that will tone down the zag taste for sure.

I bought some AF Black and mixed it with AF Mint. I always got a good buzz from the mix AF Black. Its not Zag but you're supposed to smoke it with the coals directly on it like Zag, and its just a spicy tobacco flavor. Very nice mix.

uh. since when have Nakhla and Zag been spoken of as if they were separate brands?

for me i love nak DA mixed with nak Zag. 1:1 ratio. it brings out the flavor of DA so well. kahn el kalili(yea?) and DA and soft black and DA are also all excellent blends.

speaking of.... i need more zag and DA. im out.

They aren't being referred to as separate brands. When people say Nakhla, most are talking about the run of the mill shisha. Zaghoul on the other hand is completely different from the regular Nakhla line, hence why people are speaking as if they were separate things.

but its not completely different. its Nakhla tobacco "flavored" to give you the "flavor" of Zag. same with Kahn el kalili, kass super, and bata. if you ask me i would say the mizo or basha line are the most different than the other regular flavors of Nakhla. similar to how AF and AF soft black are the same brand. just different flavors.

am i missing something?
