gunsboy
When I was buying some sweets for Eid Alfitr after Ramadan I found those new coals the middle eastern food store is carrying. They are called Starlight Coconut Charcoals. Even though I have alot of CocoNara boxes my brother had brought from Montreal I wanted to try those. Here are some pictures.. Enjoy..Coals on the portable stove, Starlight coal is the one that is lit differently. Not much difference, plus sorry for the flash. The boxes of Starlight and CocoNara. Starlight 72 pieces is $4.99 Canadian, this is local and he says that no one buys those but me . His supplier is in Montreal. CocoNara 60 boxes of 16 pieces for $75, this price is only if you buy in bulk though from Montreal -11 to 12 hours drive for me-. ... To Be Continued ... gunsboy
This is my ghetto hookah "Gozza" -smokes like heaven- and my tri-metal behind it.This is my shisha/hookah storage. My wife hates it because I took over one of her nice ceramic plates and bowls spots. This a low quality video of the hookah in action with the two types of coals.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4UOCtuH4HoI actually like those Starlight coals. They look better than the CocoNara coals because they are cut better and they light more evenly. If you find someone carrying those, and you like Coconut coals, try them out, you will not regret it. For me, no more expensive shipping costs because of the heavy ass coals that I have to order with my shisha.

indian_villager
I used to like em but they have consistancy issues. My latest box as coals that slightly splinter and often crack. They were good for a while....maybe i'll try them again in a few months.

In one box the coals would split in half when you took them off the burner.
Dr. B
they do have consistency issues. some boxes 75% of the coals will split when you take them off the burner, some boxes 100% do no break.I like them. They are cheap enough (5.99 USD locally) to net a positive opinion, so I have like 10 boxes in my closet with my hookah supplies.
