I like Mir, really wanted it to happen for him but he got manhandled by a straight up beast. Carwin is a Rocky Marciano level natural though guy. Mir never really looked mentally sharp enough, judging by what little fight there was to judge.
Gsp was gsp. Unstoppable takedowns, simply the best i have ever seen. Looked like he could/should have finished but nonetheless another awe inspiring performance.

Im not much of a gambler but for UFC 111 I put down 110 dollars on a 4 fight parlay, I was so sure I was going to win but Matt Brown screwed it up for me I had Matt Brown, Carwin, GSP, Palhares. Really sucks Reward was 850 dollars. With out brown Reward was like 400 or 500 Betting Alemidia which I was thinking of doing last second would of been 650. Coulda used some new shisha


But on the fight.. I knew that Carwin was going to KO Mir... It was inevitable he will beat Brock too. GSP will not risk losing the belt especially if he is best at taking people down to the ground. He will stand and fight with people if he is going againts another high level wrestler but even that I bet you another high level wrestler will not be able to stop his nasty takedowns.

I love watching GSP fights because of how technical he is on the ground. I always wonder which way he will finish a fight. UFC 111 card was great, I really enjoyed it besides NOT winning my earnings. Edited March 29, 2010 by newjacksm

see the thing was that no one had seen carwyn out of the first round so not a single person really knew what he was capable of.
Mir has always been one of my favorite fighters to watch (under gsp and penn) no matter the personality. i was really damn surprised carwyn handled dude like he did. and i honestly think its for the better because i absolutely hate Lesner and want to watch someone take the belt that should have been stripped from him in the first place since he couldn't accept challenges. on another note - carwyn has a very similar fight style to lesner in that he uses the goldberg spear to take people down. should be interesting to watch.
