Tips On Ways To Clean Hookah?

Recommended Posts

i like to use baking soda and white vinegar to clean the base. the baking soda kills the smell of the vinegar so no worries with that lol

and then lemon juice for the stem and of course hot water to wash out the stem and base

I use just plain ol' water mostly. I think the best tip is to break down your hookah after you are done rather than leaving it setup with the water in the base for extended periods of time.

I gotta remember to start emptying the water out after using it. It's ghosting like a mutha-fucka. Everything's smellin like Nak Earl Gray. Nasty when I'm trying to smoke Tang Sour, or some other fruity shisha.

+1

Water works great if you break down the hookah.

Easy on the vinegar if it's in contact with the stem for a long period of time. I recently ruined the head of a DE-razor (and it was a razor made in 1926-1929 sad.gif ) by letting it soak in watered out vinegar.

Personally I use water and dish soap for cleaning the stem. The vase I usually just fill with dish soap water/lemon juice water/baking soda and water and let it sit for some time. Has never given me any problems. I should clean my hookah a lot ofter, though...

Understandable and thanks for the tip, I never leave it in there for more than a few seconds anyway.

eric says beer is the best.

BTW when you lot put baking soda/vinegar, how do yuo do it. you pour the baking soda powder down the stem and then pour the vinegar?

Bingo think of how you' like to make a Volcano as a kid and apply it to your hookah stem.
