DillonDouche
I've got a 30" 3 Hose and Ive been cleaning it with sea salt and warm water and pipe cleaners for a while but I"m looking for a more efficient way to clean my hookah. I've head baking soda and lemon juice and thing like that, but witch method really works the best?
tofat2runfast
i like to use baking soda and white vinegar to clean the base. the baking soda kills the smell of the vinegar so no worries with that loland then lemon juice for the stem and of course hot water to wash out the stem and base
MrMoodz
I use just plain ol' water mostly. I think the best tip is to break down your hookah after you are done rather than leaving it setup with the water in the base for extended periods of time. It's ghosting like a mutha-fucka. Everything's smellin like Nak Earl Gray. Nasty when I'm trying to smoke Tang Sour, or some other fruity shisha. redjako
Yeah I got very lazy the last number of months leaving my hookah overnight without breaking it down..didn't get clean until the next day.Now I have a bit of ghosting problems Just used to use water and dish soap very sparringly and never had issues. liquidglass
I used to clean my hookahs constantly now it's whenever I get ready to smoke. So if they sit over night, some vinegar and baking soda to make a hookah volcano then run a piece of magic eraser through the stem. Rinse, dry. Boom good as new. Balthazar
Easy on the vinegar if it's in contact with the stem for a long period of time. I recently ruined the head of a DE-razor (and it was a razor made in 1926-1929 ) by letting it soak in watered out vinegar.Personally I use water and dish soap for cleaning the stem. The vase I usually just fill with dish soap water/lemon juice water/baking soda and water and let it sit for some time. Has never given me any problems. I should clean my hookah a lot ofter, though...

destructo
club soda, seltzer water or tonic water is the best imo. cover 1 end and put a few inches in the hose. cover the other end and swish it back and forth a few times and rinse out.
