JDHarding
I went to the local smoke shop to get some shisha, and all they had were $24 100g cans of Starbuzz, some little 50g tubs of Hookah-Hookah shisha, and little H-H shisha shots. The shots were probably only 20 or so grams. Anyway, I smoked the margarita and cherry and they were nowhere near as bad as people have said they are. They didn't give ANY buzz, though, but their flavors were good and with 3 of John's coals, they smoked quite nicely. The margarita was especially nice. The shisha was pretty wet, and squished down, and required some fluffing. It only filled half the tub, and my friend was like "That's it? I thought it would fill the whole tub." and I said, "Well it needs to be fluffed."Anyway, stupid-story-short, I thought Hookah-Hookah was garbage? How can it be better than Al Fahker, and all those other Al's? Did I miss something here? Have they improved?
Hookie The Hookah
Sensationalism. It's still smokable, it's just not comparable to some of the better brands...
mix_tape
I enjoy a few flavors but there is much better tobacco available.
tofat2runfast
I've gotten some odd good session using H-HSaying that i wouldn't risk buying it again. Only if you're feeling the hurt in your wallet
Chreees
H-H has got flavor, but no buzz.
thehelios
I never found any of their flavors as being accurate and the smoke is nothing compared to nakhla, af, or SB.
AKammenzind
I've had it described to me as "The other side's Nakhla" and I somewhat agree. It's pretty affordable, and often people are referred to it as a starter tobacco, though IMO Nakhla is a start and end tobacco but again that's just my opinion. It does often seem that there are almost two 'camps' in the hookah world: The ones who smoke mainly Nakhla-AF-Tangiers and the ones who more or less stick to HH/HF, starbuzz and fantasia. Obviously not completely true, as most people do try a lot of other brands. Has anyone else noticed this pattern, especially for US smokers? JDHarding
Well.. this place seemed to be mostly pipe oriented. Tons of pipes. They also had lots of native america decorative stuff, like those dream catchers and stuffed eagles and little knick-knacks. They had pipe cleaning stuff too. But a teeny tiny shisha selection. The girl said that was all they had at the moment. Most likely they ran out of everything else.I'm currently smoking a mix of the margarita and lemonaide. Interesting stuff. But I'd have to agree that Tang and Nak are much higher quality.Edit: Just thought of this.. this might be a good shisha to mix with Desi Murli since that stuff needs a wet shisha to mix with it to smoke good. I usually mix Nak or Tang with Desi, but this could work too. Edited September 21, 2009 by JDHarding

Amn_sinclair
ive never tried hookah hookah, althogh they do have a few flavors in their hookah-freak line that i wanna give a shot like long island ice tea, if the flavors are good and i smoke it after all ready having a good buzz from a bowl of og tang or nak it could be pretty nice, i may even try mixing it with unflavored nak shisha see how that goes. Tyler
It's not the flavors that suck, it's the fact that the flavor is gone after 10 min. The quality of the tobbacco is horrid.
Crys
I personally think HH is a great starter tobacco...especially for people not used to nicotine/smoking in generaland I think some of the flavors are underratedHH Lemonade is deliciousHF Blueberry Pancakes is quite accurate tastingHH Blackberry is a very good sweet mixer for heavier flavorsas with all tobaccos, there's some good flavors in there and if you can get it to smoke right it will smoke well

But yeah I've definitely noticed the trend.

Sonthert
Yeah, I think calling HH garbage is a little rough. It has been the highest water content brand on the market. They might have changed or improved the product. I haven;t seen any in at least a year. Back then. the product smelled questionable, the texture and cut of it was not what I would expect a good quality product to have. Its easy to just dismiss it. If the water content is as high as Dan Fishman's tests indicate, its certainly the "thinnest" tobacco out there and would suffer from quick flavor fading. Saying its as good as Al Fakher...thats a pretty large statement, though. This is of course all supposition, if it speaks to you, smoke it. It was the only shisha I knew about when I started smoking, and if you get it down, it can actually smoke quite well.
