Hookah_510
I had just got my washable nammor hose in the mail. As I was rinsing it, there were black residue (looked like wood ink) on the inside walls of the mouth piece (not the hose). I ran water through it many times and even rubbing alcohol to burn it all off. I emailed hookah-shisha and they are sending out me another replacement (superior customer service btw). Has this happen to anyone else?edit: how long will it take to get rid of that new rubber hose scent? Crys
never seen that in any of my hosesmy guess would be its either a paint defect?
Capt. Morgan
I eashed my nammor when I first got it and purple-ish stuff came came out. I figured it was dye and had heard about this happening to other people so I didn't freak out about it. Is more residue coming out of the mouthpiece or has it stopped? And as far as the taste goes a few smokes and it should go away. Flush the whole hose with vodka and water, that should help a bit too. indian_villager
Its the paint.....if you really want to get rid of it all get a drill and bore out the mouth tip. This way you get a wider diameter and no paint!

Hookah_510
after 2 more rinses, its slowly going away (from the alcohol burning it off). most of it came off so i had to try the hose earlier tonight. boy does this thing really pull. I'm just waiting on my heba diffuser to make my hookah sessions even more pleasant.

Try lemon juice to cut the tase, but really you are just going to have to smoke it out.So let me get this straight, you got a big bore hose to get better hits, and now you are putting a diffuser on it that acts to restrict the air flow as it breaks up the bubbles?? Stuie
I wash mine with Lemon juice 2-3 times and then hot water after before smoking a new Nammor. I have then stuff come out, but nothing some little citric acid can't take care of.
