Quick Acclimation Question...

Recommended Posts

I did do some looking but couldn't find anything. I got my shipment from john. I got Tangiers Orange Soda, Horchata, and Grape. I also got Nak 2x apple and Mizo Guava ( I think, lol ). Anyways, I have them all acclimating in the kitchen in their tubs. There each about 5ft away from eachother. Will this affect the flavor of them at all? I was planning on leaving them out for another 5-6 hours. I live in AZ so its pretty dry.

i wouldn't worry about specific time. How much are you stirring it.

Smell the shishas while acclimating, when they smell right they are done.

I haven't noticed a separation issue, I acclimate them right next to eachother. Did you take it out of the bag? put in a different container to acclimate them and make sure you get all the juice you can.

Yup, put them each in their own container. It seemed like the Nak and Mizo were almost gtg out of the bag. As for the tangiers, I didn't really stir them to much, but only left them out for about 4 hours. They all smell like they should as far as I know, lol. Except for Horchata, I don't know what it is, but it doesnt smell like soy sauce or tobacco so im sure its gtg also. I thought it would take longer than that. I got some Tangiers Tropical Blast or something, I let that acclimate for about 7-8 hours and got no smell or taste out of it. These new flavors seem like they're dead on tho.

4 or 5 hours is usually good. I acclimate them all near each other, and have never had a problem. Where in AZ are you?

Im in Tucson, U?

well...it was kinda a quick question, lol. I dunno if it was the Tropical Blast that I got before, but I could never really get a good smell outa it. These 3 new flavors that I got all smell spot on. thanks for the help fellas.

No it does not dry out, you don't leave it out for days, just 4 hours and if it still smells bad, seal it, then open it another 4 hours the next day, at the same time you did it the first day. You want to acclimate at the time you normally smoke, and you want to acclimate it in the room you smoke in.
