MrIsrael
I recently purchased a 1kg tub of AF Strawberry. It smells insane, but I get minimal taste, if any from smoking it,I smoke with a Large Phunnel (I know, unnecessarily big, but HS didn't give me a choice)I pack moderately tightly, with 2 QL.Is it my bad, or is AF strawb not great? Many Thanks
MrMoodz
Ohhh bummer. AF Strawberry is a mild flavor in my opinion. You should use it as a mixer or filler.
AKammenzind
Don't pack it at all, just fluffing it in there works best with AF. Might help, it's not a really strong flavor, but I wouldn't call it mild either.
ryno
If its a large phunnel, and you're only using two coals (33mm or 40mm?) You might need more coal. Also try splitting the coals into halves and spreading them out over ring of the bowl
MrIsrael
Hmm, Its really juicy,Both fluffing, and using 3 33mm QL makes it very very very harsh.I need to get my head in to splitting coals.. sounds good.I will try it next time! hookah hippie
it is bland but try using 2 and 1/2 coals split them up into halves as well
Hippo_Master
On the larger phunnel you will need at least 3 coals.Oh wait, AF, yeah, that stuff sucks. You're gonna need to do half coals with CH coals. It burns very easily. Edited September 25, 2009 by Hippo_Master
ammoura1
Talking about strawberry, does anybody recommend a good strawberry flavor? I tried Nakhla, AF, Starbuzz and Fumari and I am yet to find a good strawberry flavor. Its either highly chemical taste or too 'creamy' for my taste. I know it's a personal thing, but after all the brands of strawberry I've had, I always go back to Nakhla.
4d1ct3d
Nakhla's stawberry is weak and hard to manage. The best srawberry I've had is AF Golden Strawberry by far

Amn_sinclair
imo i tangiers is the best strawberry, to me it tastes like a fruit roll up and for the lack of flavor. U should try using warm water. Ull get smaller clouds but warm water usually enhances flavor
ilikemyusername
nakhla strawberry ftw btw, and 3 33mm coals is burning the shit out of it, I'm sure you're getting some thick ass clouds though!
