JDHarding
I've been getting a lot of comments on shisha stores or lounges that seem to have their own brand of shisha. Some just mix brand name stuff of different flavors together to create their own mix, but a friend of mine once told me of this shisha he smoked that his friend got from Idaho or Oregon, in a little shop, the only one that carried it. No brand name. It came in a little jar, was thick and fine, like paste, and was the best stuff he's ever smoked. I'm guessing it was fine shredded pipe tobacco or similar that was mixed with flavoring and such, but I have a feeling it was shopmade or homemade. It was also VERY expensive stuff. Supposedly 100g or so for $30 or more.Has anyone else heard of shops making their own shisha using tobacco they have in shop? Like pipe tobacco? Expensive pipe tobacco? If so, I gotta find a recipe for this stuff.
Hookie The Hookah
A restaurant around here claims to make their own but it's just nakhla... I actually lol'd at them when they showed it to me (still in the plastic wrap that all nakhla comes in)
JDHarding
Well if I want to make my own, it seems Drum Blended rolling tobacco is some of the best. It's also pricey stuff. I need to search around for flavoring stuff. I'd really prefer syrups over having to cook my own ingredients from scratch.

twoapplesplease
You'll want to use a pipe tobacco, ciggerette tobacco is cured differently. Also thought of ordering some of the flavored molasses they use in germany to add juice back to there dry tobacco. They got a few different flavors already too go just add tobacco and glycerin.I'd like to make some black cavindish with bahraini flavored honey.
