Just Thinking About Starbuzz.....

I know I've always bashed starbuzz but the truth is that I don't think it's as terrible as I say it is.
If it were $12 less per tin it might not rub me so badly. If the tin were airtight it might not be so bad. If it delivered the buzz it promises in the name it might be half decent. If they concentrated on making 20 great flavors instead of 70 so-so flavors they might be onto something. Personally I prefer a rich smoke and by rich I don't mean overpriced. If it produced a nice thick ummy yummy cloud instead of a light weak quickly disapearing cloud I might like it. The thing is, I feel it's on par with AF. Its like smoking a chicken gizzard thats labeled filet mignon.

i never smoke starbuzz cause its not worth the price i mean come on its $10-$15 dollas more than tangiers and nakhla. who on here can honestly say its better than tangiers(its impossible) cause thats what happing when you pay for it. sorry about the rant but not worth the price ever

starbuzz in the shisha industry is what starbucks is in the coffee world..its just the place to be seen sitting outside with your laptop and your blue tooth sitting next to your leased mercedes while living in that 400 sqft condo..its all just a image thing..

every now and again i can smoke starbuzz, but not often for the price, and i get pretty big clouds from starrbuzz just no buzz

I would buy it for the ladies (since they seem to love the marketing schema), but the flavors are SO damn hit or miss. Its a necessity to hop on here before purchase and search through threads..which is way too much work over purchasing AF, Nak or Tang.

all you have to do is pretend its starbuzz no one really questions why the particular smoke tastes so much better

One of the reasons I like it is precisely for the lack of buzz. Eric has theorized that I am either allergic or hypersensitive to nicotine, as Tangiers knocks my on my ss, sick as a dog. In fact the last couple of times I've moke unwashed tobacco, my blood pressure has shot up past the danger range, into the Holy Crap! range. Around 160/100, with a pulse rate of almost 130. Given my family's history of heart attacks, I can do without the buzz, thank you.

And anyone who complains about $20/can just doesn't know how to shop around. When buying online, a 3-pack usully takes it down a few bucks, and Super King in Glendale sells it for $13.99.

Sariel, interesting..I have the same thing happen to me sometimes with being really tired, hungover or whatnot with Tangiers OG.

My heart rate will shoot up to a sprint rate sometimes Got low blood pressure over here, just nice to know it happens to others

If you buy it in the packs and use a discount, you're paying no more than 1-2$ more than you are for the other stuff. I admitt that SB has no buzz, but for people like me who smoke for flavor and not buzz, it's a good thing. Some of their flavors can't be touched, not by Tangiers not by Nak, not by AF, not by anything...you might not want to say it but it's true. Their buzz sucks, and their undiscounted prices suck, but their tobacco is still good. People who say they lose flavor with SB in 30 min don't know what they're doing because I can easily get my SB to go for 3-4 hours without really trying, and yes that is full flavor, 5-6 if I want weak flavor. Not as good as Tangiers but still good.

The only thing I will even touch from SB is blue mist. $20 for a 250g can when i can get 500g of Nahkla for ~$2 less.

I do like some of the flavors of starbuzz (I think, it's been quiet a while) But the price is always the deal breaker, same with fantasia I had a few favorite flavors but unless I've got a ton of money to spend on shisha I stick to tangiers, Af, and nak.

A local store here sells Nak for $5 or less for 250 g. So I could get a kilo of it for the price of a tin of starbuzz.

There's just so many things to dislike about SB. But I will say this, SB Pineapple is the best of that flavor I've had. The SB sweetness works with Pineapple like no other. I thoroughly enjoy that flavor. Everything else is overwhelminly sweet and gives me a headache.

Its funny when people talk down starbuzz but the honest truth I can admit is that starbuzz is the most consistent tobacco i've ever smoked, next to nakhla. If one flavor is horrible dont expect them to change it, if it's awesome, that next tin you buy will just be as awesome. Now you really cant say that about al fakher, tangiers, hookah-hookah, etc. I'm not saying I don't like those brands, its just I feel like i'm paying for honest consistency.

i understand people that like it..different taste buds for different people..ive tried 5 different sb's flavors and the only one i liked was watermelon.. if i had the money to throw around i would try some of the others but i dont want to risk it..it seems hit or miss with them and when i think what i can get for $20 that i may not like i just can pull the trigger..way too many solid brands out there especially the mizo line which i love i can get 1,250g of mizo locally for the price of sb..although i will agree with everyone else sb is good when you have females around and dont want to knock them out with nak..and to be honest some females are not worth wasting tangiers on..lol

i like select flavors of sb, and my girlfriend does too (which is important). i read people knocking it for thin smoke and losing flavor... i don't know how you guys are setting up your rigs, but i get consistent booming tasty clouds for hours. nobody's ever taken a pull and been anything but stoked. i like that it doesn't have a strong buzz, particularly when i'm smoking with company including friends who don't smoke regularly, and when i'm trying to go out afterwards instead of napping. consistency is worth a few bucks, too. i haven't tried nak, but i've got some nak manderin in the mail now! heard it's good!

NoB I've tried 3 nak flavors and will never buy nak again There's a small possibility I didn't set it up right but there's also a possibility that these SB haters aren't setting it up right, either.
