What Are Some Good, Varied Flavors?

Recommended Posts

As I said before, I'm buying a hookah soon.
Now, I just realized I have to pick out some flavors lol. What kinds should I go with? I've seen the raving reviews of tangiers and the nak-something (sorry I'm not sure what it's called, my browser is being funky and slow,) but I don't want to buy all that. As odd as this sounds, I don't want to start off with those two brands; I feel like if I start with those, I'll be starting with the best and won't realize how much better it is than the others. I was thinking about getting various Starbuzz tins, but they seem expensive. (btw, I've smoked hookah before; just not very often, and I don't know what kind or brand it was I smoked).

What are some other brands and flavors that you all reccommend? I like normal flavors, i.e. strawberry or other fruits, but I really want to try the more exotic and strange flavors that aren't just fruit or sweet flavors.

I'd say get a little bit of Nahka (I don't think it really is as great as some people think)

some Al Fahker

and some Romman

al Fahker is flavorful and very little buzz
Nak is heavy on the buzz with very natural flavors
and Romman is somewhere between the two

that way you get a taste of the varying styles of shisha

Some brands that i feel make quality shisha are Layalina, Al Fakher, and Havana

Some exotic, non-typical flavors:
Guava
Rose
Vanilla
Chocolate
Mint
Cinnamon
Coffee (cappucino, latte, mocha, etc)
Cola
Margarita

You'll find some really out-there flavors, mainly from brands like hookah-hookah, but i think sticking with those 3 brands above would be on the safer side, stranger may not always be better..

But some hookah-hookah flavors sound nice and have gotten decent reviews, like:
Chai
7-spice
Butterscotch
Irish Cream

I mean, what you want recommended are brands and flavors that are good, but not as good as nakhla or tangiers right? I would recommend getting different brands anyways, because you also have to consider that some nakhla flavors may be terrible compared to that flavor made by layalina or al fakher, or one night you may be craving some shisha with a buzz, and another you may want only some flavor and no buzz, it's all a matter of preference Edited by Bandito
