Molson
so heres the thing. canada day and victoria day are comming up (fireworks days in canada) and every year our street gets together and we all pitch in about 20 bucks and put on this huge display for kids on our street. i have allways liked grouping them together and having a bunch go off at once, i have never liked lighting one then running to light a few more then running away and last year what we did was a neighbour went to the states on vacation and brought back some bags of fuse http://www.wafireworks.com/Merchant2/merch....mvc?Screen=PRO D&Store_Code=WF&Product_Code=VF&Category_Code=SB C like that one. so this year we wanted to do the same except no one is going down to the states and any company i have contacted says they dont like dealing with across the border because something to do with credit card junk. so here in my proposal to anyone, i would like 60 feet of that fuse (3 packs). anyone willing to order, just punch in 3 and see how much the total comes to with shipping. then add 5 bucks for shipping to me. then add another 10 for your trouble. if you trust me you can order it on the spot, if not you can wait for the money order, cheque (depends on if i get my account fixed) then order it and ship it out to me. if anyone is interested please pm me with an adress and stuff and i will send mine out. im hopinh to get this going cause i dont know how long this process will take and want to give my self a 2 week cushion incase of anything thank you

Sonthert
I think that sounds like a bad idea. When I was 12, I saw a fireworks accident on the fourth of July that took some 20 people's lives. Hate the things.
DizzyGuy
I'm a pyro and I loooooove fireworks... Don't see the problem with shipping fuse though, it's not explosive or anything.
dikydave
ya...thats the last thing i wanna do is be known as the guy that sent fuse across the border and spent the rest of his life from violating some obscure terrorist law.

Sonthert
If they're legal, why can;t they be had in Canada?
Oggie505
if fireworks are sold in canada i am sure you cand find some fuse there. i know for sure you cannot ship it with the postal service and UPS might charge a lot. it is an explosive, plain and simple. the fuse is made with blackpowder, not a nice thing to ship
c4r80n
a little off topic...but here you can make some fireworks.you know those picolo peets? those fireworks that just whistle really loud and emit sparks for a few seconds? they are "safe" fireworks but you can exploit that.rip the base off, duct tape the entire thing with the fuse sticking out. And hammer the sh*t outa it until flat. light and it goes BOOOOOOM! really really loud.Another thing to do, but is more work, is to take dry ice and a 2-liter bottle. chop up the dry ice and put it in the emtpy 2-liter. Fill it about an inch high. You can make several, just do not cap it. when ready, pour in warm water (about a cup or 2) and tighten the cap very tight and wait like 10 minutes. biggest boom you'll ever hear and feel. the best. DizzyGuy
Yeah, I've seen people almost get their arms blown off like that, carbon... the dry ice thing. Oh well, if you decide to do it... shake it and throw it somewhere else... and under no circumstances should you go and pick up an "armed" bottle... you're dealing with a delayed reaction rather than a dud, trust me
Molson
i cant find any here and i figured it was just a pack of fuse that it would be legal. if its not then forget it, as for people advising against it...i dont think you understand but this is to make it safer. so we dont run arounf lit fireworks trying to get a bunch lit, all we do is light 1 fuse far away from all the fireworks. as for making my own fuse, i dont wanna expiriment with stuff i much rather purchase proper fuse. im not a pyro, the adults get together and put on a show for the kids. i dont want to be expirimenting with stuff especially if small children are around. if ups ships it then i would really like a few packs, if that is a problem then i understand. so please if anyone out wants to help and make a little extra, and it dosn't get you guys in trouble then please pm me. as for finding it in canada, i have contacted every fireworks store listed and none have any rolls. Sonthert
Yeah, those people that set up the fireworks in Lakewood were professionals. I'm sure nothing will happen, but it seems like a risk for nothing, to me. UPS will ship some types of explosives, I think.
