Sonthert
A gun? Possibly, but the perpetrator had the drop on us anyhow, gun or not. When I turned around, he had it cocked. Steve said there wasn't a bullet in the chamber, but its not really worth the risk, is it. As to money. Unfortunately Jabbles' friend had picked up some tobacco about an hour and a half earlier. About $400 all totaled. Sorry, Jabbles, you'll have to repay for your tobacco. Send me a check for $286.Kidding!I'm fine, I think everybody is fine. Its really not as traumatic as it might seem. Think of withdrawing money at an ATM using a gun instead of an ATM card. Life goes on. I think that person on the 10News story was referring to the unfortunate tendency of people to report crimes and all the perpetrators as being black, tall, 25-30. It's to be expected in a place like San Diego sadly. Hope there isn't a next time, and if there is...it ends with the robber knocked unconscious from you knocking him out with one of your Large phunnels. JDHarding
Ha.. crime is stupidly rampant everywhere. Washington state (not DC!) currently has these armed guys in masks robbing people at gunpoint at the parks. And they're not getting much out of it either. It makes no sense. I blame Grand Theft Auto. Har har.
Toxik916
This sucks but it could have been alot worse. I'm just happy that nobody was injured.

kdkhookah
This shows how bad things are becoming. I mean things were already bad. But I mean, who thinks to rob a hookah bar? Shows how desperate and lazy people are getting.

JDHarding
I can understand somebody robbing a hookah shop, like a pipe shop with more than just hookah-related pipes. Like Chief Cottonmouth here in Puyallup. He sells a buttload of hookah (and "other") pipes. Lots of them. Very beautiful, very expensive ones. Some I could go as far as saying they're "glass art". I'm sure he's got quite the wad in the cash register, but robbing a hookah bar? Do they really make that much cash? And robbing the customers too? If the customers were rich, they'd be at home smoking their own pipe.

Jabbles180
Ohh crap. Eric, I feel for you man. Its funny that the first thing that came to mind was if it was after my friend picked up my order. Just to inform everyone my friend isnt that tall and is not black haha.I must say though Eric, You have one sexy mustache there. Only a true man can grow something that epic. Idk if i can send that check... I kind of went all out with that order and a little Indian casino up here and im on the broke side of things now. I'll just have to find some time to do another pilgrimage to your shop and order up some more tobaccy.
