Mailing Tobacco.

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering, when tobacco is mailed, does it have any stickers on it that say there's tobacco inside?

Or say, for example, I order from hookahjohn.com, on the box, does it say "hookah product" or "tobacco"?
Just curious for shipping issues and parents..

I have never recieved a box that said "tobacco" or anything to that nature.. But the return address alsways says the company name so if you dont want your parents to see "Hookah" or "SHisha" then I say ship it somewhere else..

You really shouldnt have an issue, if you ARE the legal AGE for smoking where you live..

I am, but my parents aren't thrilled that I'm smoking hookah. They're under the idea that it's NHT or something and won't let me explain.
They've become better, but they don't like that I'm spending money on it.

when shipping within one's own country (sending and receiving within usa) it is not required to declare the contents of the package since the package does not go through customs.

also, you will want to find a vendor that ships with his personal name rather than business name. hookahjohn ships with his name and not "hookahjonh" or "CH".

Okay, that's what I was hoping because I plan on making an order with him. Where would I tell him to do that?

you dont have to tell him to do that cuz he does it automatically.
but if you feel safer doing so then just send him an email via his website.

For usa i don't think anything is labeled, except for ammunition,primers/powder. They are usually the only thing that could be shipped thats labeled hazardous for home use. That guy with the p.o box idea was kinda right, but not all businesses like to ship to p.o.'s they would usualy post in their F.A.Q page Edited by king_lunchb0x

I just got a package from him not too long ago and it said:
"John N____"
"CH____ hookah"

Contained both the CH word and hookah. But, it doesn't matter for me, I never have my packages sent to my parents place. My parents know its not NHT, but they are completely against smoking anything period.

^Do this. John will do it, cause he's cool like that.

Yeah, last package I got from him it said the same thing as in del's post.

He will just take a marker and black out any hookah related phrases.....thats what he did for me. Just put that you want it blacked out when you checkout in the "Additional Comments" section
