I'm Not Sure What's Wrong With Some Of You.

Recommended Posts

This pertains to to a discussion in the Serious Discussion area.

BBKakes: if you don't have something constructive to say. Don't say nothing at all. 4 days suspension.

clibinarius: He didn't say he deserved more than $47K he said he would take anything as he had friends turning down higher sums. Your flame was baseless and you didn't even bother to read what he actually wrote. 4 days suspension.

Gaia: ill deal with you seperately.

NOW HEAR THIS:

Rule #1 is in full effect. If you dont have something constructive to say when soemone is asking an honest and serious question, kep your fucking mouths closed. This is not a free fire zone for folks to flame at will to make themselves feel superior or because "it's just the internet." You will conduct yourselves properly or you can go post someplace else.

That is all.

Damn, I respect Mush's decision, but this is actually the first time I have disagreed with bans... honestly, if I had said exactly what was on my mind, I would have received a ban myself...actually I am kinda surprised I didn't get one

I'm sad a couple of my chat buddies won't be on for a few days sad.gif especially over the certain someone this is about(who I think should have gotten a ban). But, I still respect Mush's authority and decision. Hope you aren't mad about my honesty mush, I'm not trying to argue or anything, just stating I don't agree, but my opinion doesn't matter anyway smile.gif Still wub.gif you mush

Then again, maybe they posted something after I got off here last night that I wasn't aware of, who knows.

please note, you can disagree with someone all you want, it's HOW you disagree that will get you in trouble.

The OP posted a thread like a few others we've gotten, people asking our opinion about what they shoudl do with their lives. Folks got just plain nasty afrter that. Some folks got especially nasty about a point that was a non-issue because the OP didn't even SAY he wouldn't work for the 47 grand.

If it was in 'Serious Discussion' then even if you don't think he's serious, you should still treat it as though it is.

I just posted something about me being homeless for 7 months.
I was serious.
Yes this is the internet.

Who would have thought it could happen!!!

like ive said before and i'll say it again...

i may not agree with some (or most) of the rules here but if i wish to remain a member of the community then i've got to follow them.
rules are rules. follow them or suffer the consequences.... or go elsewhere.
plain and simple.

ive learned the best way to avoid bans (for myself personally) is to simply avoid posting in serious discussion. thin red line posting there and most "discussions" turn heated.

you dont know "heated" or "bashing" or "flaming" until you've read the Chill Out Room on tranceaddict.com
lol you really need a sense of humour for that.

Thats the part I disagree with in relation to the bans. I think it was iffy if any of those banned really broke them, but I may be biased on that since I enjoy chatting with them, so in that manner, I don't like it, but I respect that mush decided they crossed the line. I just don't understand how destructo didn't get a ban after a few of the things he said(this is not a request for an explanation either, just stating my thought process) , but like I said, my opinion mattered in August, but does not anymore. I've talked to LG about it a little and decided this matter is not worth getting bent out of shape over anymore than I already have been(I feel retarded now, its the internet, not the end of the world). Lots of things in life aren't fair in certain people's eyes, but thats the way it goes. In like 2 days its not going to matter anymore and at least I have learned through others mistakes (and possibly my own) to just avoid giving advice to people in the serious forum, just stay out of it. Hope those on vacation come back!

ohsnap1.gif

This is understandable. The only annoying questions are the ones that people could have found out simply by using the search engine. But then again, it's not hard to redirect them to a post or tell them to use the search engine. At least these bans are only four days and finally not related to NHT.
