newjacksm
can you make the pictures bigger?
mushrat
If the ball is stuck, take a torch, turbo lighter, or something damn hot and heat around the purge valve and the ball. The thinner metal around the ball will expand first and you should be able to tap the ball out with the edge of s screw driver or some such. McLovin600
how should I get rid of that orange circle? is there a chance the rust went further inside? Sorry pics were from phone
ryno
Some Brass-O would clean it up nicely once you've gotten the ball out. That or maybe a wire brush on a Dremel

indian_villager
Use something to pry it out and and clean up the area the best you can with a cloth. It seems you have a brass heart so you dont have to worry about the rust spreading. Just use some brass polish or brass wool to clean up the area. mushrat
a piece of steel wool and a nail head or pen or pencil tip will clean the existing rust out of the port.
