JDHarding
John sent this lighter to me with my shisha purchase. I've seen some cool things, but this lighter has got to be the coolest. Usually these things give off a blue light, this sucker is green! Look at the pic.. green flame! Woot. Dunno if other lighters do this too, but.. I thought it was cool. r1v3th3ad
I think its copper that makes the green, but I'm probably wrong as usual

I don't know enough chemistry to say.
chinamon
different colour jetflame lighters just mean the flame burns at a different temperature.ive seen red, blue, green and purple flames.

chinamon
Flame color depends on several factors, the most important typically being blackbody radiation and spectral band emission, with both spectral line emission and spectral line absorption playing smaller roles. In the most common type of flame, hydrocarbon flames, the most important factor determining color is oxygen supply and the extent of fuel-oxygen pre-mixing, which determines the rate of combustion and thus the temperature and reaction paths, thereby producing different color hues.source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flame
liquidglass
it could also be an led inside the lighter itself. Sounds stupid but I've seen a lighter with a green led in the bottom and when the battery died on it the flame was normal.

I tried lighting it when I first got it and it was empty. No green color.Edit: Also, it's blue for a little while before it turns green. Most likely it's raising in temp, thus turning it green. Sweet lighter. Dude, I got so many lighters from you. You've sent me 3 of those AF Lighter/Knife combos (1 is still in the box! lol), like 5 or so packs of playing cards, 1 of those retro lookin green lighters, and now this AC/DC one. I dunno what to do with them all, but this one is by far the coolest.
