It leeks out of the handle and the stem..both in the long sections where the hose meets the tube.Still works better then my narbishes..but comeon, I had to tape the shit up and re-super glue it, and when I purge I see small amounts of smoke leak through..Anyway, hopefully V2 is better, but I'm going to order some leather hoses or KM's. Has there ever been problems getting coulds of the "usual" size? If not, it might not be that big a deal, although I understand that you want to fix it. I've had several hoses with minor leaks that still works great.Luckily for me, my Narbish has no leaks. (And I never wash it). The handles are okay too, but they need some heavy duty gromits to both hold the hose on, and to hold the clear plastic ends on. I also need some rubber tape to wrap them with so they don't leak, and some super heavy-duty glue. That crappy rubber glue they use is garbage. Only problem is they're not washable at all (read: by definition every hose is washable, of course. But washing them drastically shortens their life-span). Narbish, Nammor, Razan etc. All great hoses, and as long as you don't was them they'll last for a while. Honestly, I think the Grands are the best-made washable hoses out there right now. Too bad I'm not otherwise a fan.Honestly, though, I just go into buying a new hose these days with the understanding that I'll have to completely rebuild the connections within the first few weeks of ownership. The future of hoses is in the plumbers' section of your friendly hardware store. Quality materials and proven connections are readily available, and the final product is ready to be decorated at the end user's will. I recommend having a look at another topic here being quite popular these days (home made hoses). I tried it myself and I was pleasantly surprised. Scoop Posted October 9, 2009 Share Posted October 9, 2009 the future of hoses is good leather hoses. ive had nammor, razan, narbish all fall apart. the grand was the best constructed but the most restrictive; i gave it away to a buddy who needed a hose. the leather hoses dont disappoint me ever.you guys can use the pvc pipes and all that, ill stay away.
