Look Nice but with my OG Trimetal, Dark Trimetal and Sig Ice, I am good on KMs for now.

Dark Trimetal? Got a pic?

H-S calls it the "Black Pyramid" only because that's the base they put it on. But I am getting a new base for it. Base is okay, Just want a more traditional base for it. "Dark Trimetal" Fits better IMO. Going to polish it up and do a review soon.

Thats just a copper heart/phoronie stem thats been (antiqued) on the copper part.
Nice I love my copper heart but I'm not so cool on that style base and colors there. But hey if you like it.

seriously watch the vidio in the Firma section of www.elmas-originale.de/
And Justify The Prices of The new Premium series and 2010 KM's.

Anyone ever find a Vidio on the prouduction of a KM?I'm still looking.

It's not antiqued. Copper turns green antiqued. It looks to me like they took the pharoine replated the copper in black then etched through the black to reveal the copper. Also the whole downstem is copper. I didn't buy it for the base...well I did want to see what they were like, but honestly I bought it purely for the stem and hose. Going to get a new base for it.

Damn KM hookahs are getting ridiculously expensive. angry.gif

At those prices I'm done with KM if my trimetal ever fails (hopefully not because I'm pretty sure you could use it as a baseball its so heavy duty)

i dont think these prices would keep me from buying another km, there are alot of good ones out there for under $125..cant get all caught up in the looks of km its the performance that matters and they all pretty much smoke the same..a $80 km will give you the same smoking pleasure has a $250 one..its all in the looks if that stuff matters to you..also not to say a $80 is ugly cause they are not..lol

Yeah, Its just frustrating when some of them are so ridiculously overpriced...

Personally I like My MZ oasis better, and the price was much less as well. ( I payed under $80 with taxes, a couple bowls, a nice hose, and a windcover). That made my decision to purchase a 48" MZ nefertiti this weekend instead of getting another KM this time. It's sad MZ probably won't be around next time I need a new hookah mellow.gif Edited by rcracer_tx

I think the "early adopter tax" has a bit to do with the prices. Once they are produced in larger quantities, more competition between retailers begins, the price will come down considerably.

When most new Nokia Phones are released are 15-20% less within 1-2 months.

ya they will go down, but i doubt that much, reason nokia can drop prices and not lose money is cause they make there profit in volume..they know if the phone is $300 they may sell 100,000 but if its say $225 they will sell 200,000+ so they make there profit in volume..so the demand for hookahs is really not high considering how many different kinds are out there..km has the market confused..they think they are the only company out there making hookahs and have cornered the market..lol all they are doing is making mya, temsah,mz look just that much better
