Hookie The Hookah
The humidity around here has been totally batshit up down all week in such a way that my tangiers sessions have been slowly devolving into flavorless boredom. While I waited for it to even back out I decided to grab some Nak at the local store to fill the void. Too bad Nak isn't giving any flavor either. I'm starting to think this might be caused by something other than humidity as I've never had trouble with tang, let alone Nak. Anyone have similar experiences/solutions?? ilikemyusername
how are you storing it?
Hookie The Hookah
Tupperware, but the Nak was fresh out of the box, completely juicy and smelled great. This tupperware has been used repeatedly for almost a year without anything like this happening....
liquidglass
sounds like a humidity problem. Just let them chill out and I personally wouldn't worry about acclimating them until it levels out some. sometimes there's nothing you can do.You an continue to try to acclimate them or just seal them up and hope they acclimate some all on their own juices which can happen. Sorry to hear about your woes but it'll make it that much better when it levels out

NIGHTS OF BAGHDAD
two reason i can think of for the no flavor if humidty is not the problem, 1 is your hookah may not be air tight..check the gromet around the stem..this happened to me, another may be that your hookah is dirty and needs a good cleaning

Hookie The Hookah
Didn't help, it was a little loose but now it's not and its not hitting well
pinky
I definetly know what you are talking about. What about smoke? Do you need more heat to get it smoking? I had that with a lot of brands during a period of time. Acclimating doesn't help. Pack it more loosely and it will get smokeable, but flavor won't be as strong as normally. Wait until humidity drops again.

ryno
I had it happen a few days this summer with Mizo and OG Tangiers. Humidity was just jumping around, there be at least double or half what there was the day before and it just ended in bad sessions. My advice: Find somewhere inside to smoke
